Panimalar Engineering College is located in Poonamalle Chennai which was established in the year of 2000. The admissions are done through counseling and management quota. This is an Anna University Affiliated college, and also the fees structure is slightly higher than other affiliated institution. Facilities are good but there is no wi-fi facilities are provided in this college. Otherwise very good infrastructure food and hostel facilities are good. Some of the rules and regulations are very strictly followed here. It has good placements and academics and extracurricular activities also performed in this college.

Academics wise good at present. I have studied in the 2013 regulation. After 2013 there are two regulations like 2017 and 2021 had come. It have very updated syllabus and easy to study. Faculty members are very helpful to develop our knowledge for placements and extracurricular activities. In academics we have to score good marks are nearly 180 university rank holders were in Panimalar Engineering College until now. So academically good and it is an affiliated institution so syllabus is framed by Anna University and exams are conducted only by the same university.

The faculties are very strict and knowledgeable peoples they have main quality that they are very punctual. Most of the peoples are very strict but some of them are friendly. They always welcome us once you have any of the doubt and other thinks. Most of the faculty members are completed Ph. D. They are always following the dress code as well as updating knowledge.

Most of time 70-90 percentage of students are placed in lot in well reputed MNCs. The highest salary package they have placed is Rs. 12 Lakhs per annum.

Hostels are provided for both boys and girls with good accommodation and good food quality and quantity. College has emergency medical team also.

Infrastructure wise very good college and facilities like bus, hostel, canteen, lab and classrooms are top notch. For hostlers food and accommodation are always good. Students feel very safe in campus. This college has medical facility (in nearby hospital) if any medical emergency they can able to take treatment very soon.

Panimalar Engineering College Campus life is average because it's have lot of strict rules and we can't able to get good knowledge practically with college instructions. But if you have own interest it's possible. I got good friends and environment in college. If you have done any wrong doing against rules you will be punished severely. It's the main drawback about this college.
