All You Need to Know About SN College, Kollam

Overall Rating
SN College, Kollam is a very good college. You will get best faculty and academics along with a good college life. The teachers are very supportive and caring. You will enjoy your college life with multiple festivals and other events the college unions provide. You will be able to build a good career and reach good positions in your life through this College. Comparing to other colleges, our faculty is excellent and will be always helpful, with their experiences.
 

Academics Rating
The course I have chosen is B.Com because I am from a Commerce background. Our teachers are the best, we can learn a lot from them throughout the academic tenure. For joining SN College, we have to pass our board exams no matter which board, (CBSE / state) but you have to pass it with minimum of 50%, then you can apply for college. The process of admission in universities in Kerala is carried out through a government website. Then on the basis of your marks and reservation (if you have) you will be selected.
We have to pay Rs. 4,000- Rs. 6,000 in the time of admission. There is no more fees after the admission process is done. There is no exam fees for e grants students, and the students who have more scholarships like this. There are special scholarships for SC/ST students and also for students who have only single parent.
 

Faculty Rating
The teachers/professors who are teaching us are well educated ones, they have PG degree and some others have doctorate also. So our faculty is excellent. They are always there for us in any situation. They help us to improve. There is a pleasant environment among teachers and students. Group activities, discussions, debates, and so many things like that are conducted throughout the academic year. Our teachers are ready to teach us even very little details about any topics at any time, they will solve our doubts and we can approach them for clearing them always.
 

Placement Rating
Unfortunately our college doesn't provide any placement or placement cells, but we can approach our teachers to guide us to get a job.
 

Hostel Rating
Our college has only girls’ hostel available. PG is available near college. They are very good and hygienic. They provide good food along with accommodation and free Wi-Fi in Rs. 6,000- Rs. 7,000 per month, for one student.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Our campus is a huge one. It includes college ground, parking area, Library, canteen, labs, etc. There are plenty of class rooms available too; maximum capacity of one class is 60-64. Our campus is eco friendly, so we can see many trees, plants, flowers around the campus. There is college canteen available in the campus it's also good food providing place for students with low budge for meals. Our college provides sports activities like Cricket, Football, Volleyball, Kabaddi, etc. Students who have interest in sports will be able to build a good sport's future under our excellent trainers.
 

Campus Rating
Our campus life is good with family like friends. Teachers are like our parents. You will get good cultural programmers, events, stages for showing your talents. You will love this campus. There are social clubs like NSS, NCC available, and other clubs like Nature club, Science club etc. College unions conduct sports tournaments, arts festivals and others. We can experience our beautiful moments in this college. I love my experience in this college and hopefully you will also enjoy this college too.
