Affordable & Quality Education at APCC Kolkata

As a Science student, I aspired to study B.Sc from a very good college which has nice alumni base. Therefore, APCC Kolkata was my one of my preferred choices, as many elder brothers were alumni here and now moving forward with an established career. My subject is Zoology and overall my experience in the first year is good with competitive syllabus and nice peers. Previously, I thought I would study Engineering, hut I gradually opted out to study zoology when I got the chance in this college.

The eligibility criterion was securing at least 75% in the main subjects. I already gained almost 89%, so I got my placed secured in that college. Other than that, there was no formal entrance exam conducted by the college. Only based on the aggregate marks in class 12th and especially in Biology, as the course curriculum was related to that subject. There are practical labs, and scientific visits periodically conducted with the help of the experience coach and faculty members, giving us the opportunity to explore the real-life scenarios based on the subject in career. The practical classes are mainly exciting when we get to practice real life situations when we apply our knowledge to accomplish a specific project.

The fee is almost Rs. 3,500 to Rs. 4,000 per year. There are occasions when you have to give fee with respect to various activities as per discretion of the college union members or authority.

The faculty team has way more experienced teachers. They really motivate us to study the subjects enthusiastically. The teachers are helpful a lot, they help us get through the challenges and answers any doubts if reached our for solving the particular problem. There are also equal number of female students who are really amazing, and there are amazing caliber between us with the all the students in other faculties.

The college provides residential facilities. However, I am not residing in the hostels.

The campus of APCC Kolkata is quite spacious. The college has large premises with state-of-the-art equipment and technology. There are library, common room, canteen, lift, playground, and a park to sit nearby. Overall, there are many spots where students can chill or enjoy their college time in a fruitful manner. The security facility is also good. Overall, the sports facilities are really nice as there are different coaches for different sports.

Celebrations happen when Seniors, along with juniors come together to conduct a genuine crowd. The principal of our college help students in time of need. The costs for annual fests or other programs come from participation of different students or sometimes outside sponsorships. The club is like debate, magazine, and sports are there. I play for football team, which competes in different colleges in the district. The fests and regular occasions are really amazing when faculty members come by and associate students with different activities.
