VNITSW Guntur: Best Academics and Engaging Faculty

Overall Rating
I am a student of VNITSW Guntur. It is a women's institute. It is perfect, if you want to learn skills and language development in addition to the academics. In our institute the faculty is extremely friendly and supportive. They teach us very well. The campus is big and has residential facilities. If you are a hard working student and want to make your future bright, this institute is a best choice for you. I personally recommend you to join this institute.
 

Academics Rating
I have doing B.Tech in ECE branch. Now I'm studying in my 1st year. I chose this branch because in this, we can learn about both Computer Science and Electrical Engineering. Institute has CSE, AIML, DS, IT, ECE, and EEE branches. The course is divided into semesters. Each semester has 5 subjects. There is an end semester exam. The academic curriculum here prepares us really well for industries.
Coming to fee structure, if you got your seat through counseling, then admission fee is about Rs. 17,350. It includes library fee, uniform fee, and other charges.
 

Faculty Rating
I am glad that the institute has counseling system. Each section will have two counselors. We have a counseling class once in a week. They talk about mental health and academic status. The faculty here is really good. They teach us in such a manner that every student is able to understand the topic very clearly. They are very friendly with us.
 

Placement Rating
The institute has a placement cell. It helps students to get good opportunities for placements. Many known companies visit the campus during placement drives to recruit the students.
 

Hostel Rating
I, myself stay in the VNITSW Guntur hostel. Now, we have a total of 3 hostels for the institute. One is inside of institute campus and the other two are outside of the campus. Hostel rules are very strict. For outings we need permission, first from parents then from hostel warden. Ragging is not allowed in the hostel. Coming to the food, it's not that bad but it would be better if food quality is improved. The hostel fee is Rs. 80,000 per year. If you want to leave the hostel in between the academic year then your fee would not be refunded.
 

Infrastructure Rating
There is a library, which is filled with academic books as well as general books. We also have news paper facility in the library. There are many well equipped labs in the institute. They are maintained very neatly. We also have a very big ground for various sports like cricket, football, etc. We also have credits given for sports. We have sports class once in a week. There is also a facility provided for Yoga. Campus has good security as well.
 

Campus Rating
VNITSW Guntur has best academics but when it comes to overall campus life it is average. The campus rules are very strict. Although the rules are for the safety and security of students but a few students find them uncomfortable. The institute has both technical and non technical clubs. NSS and NCC are also there, credit scores are given to students who participate in them actively. ‘Nirulotsav’ a kind of fest is conducted in the institute once a year.

    Firstly our college is women's. Our college is the best for women’s. The second thing I like in this college is uniform. Shirt and pant. That shows the dignity.
