My View of AIMSR Indore

Overall Rating
Acropolis Institute of Management Studies and Research is a reputed institute in Indore in terms of Bachelor of Commerce. I like certain things about the institute which involves placement, culture and academics. It gives freedom to the students who are pursuing professional courses in terms of attendance. This institute is unique in so many ways like good academics, fests, bus facilities, infrastructure, canteens, supportive teachers and others.
 

Academics Rating
I chose to this course as a backup for my professional career and some other reasons. As far as I know, there is no eligibility criteria or maybe 60% in class 12th required. Admission process is simple. You may go for counselling if you need and then take your decision to join and submit the prescribed documents. There is only 1 internal exam, some assignments and PPTs to do in one semester and then final exam to take.
The total fee for my course is Rs. 60,000. At the time of registration in the institute, the fee would be Rs. 500. It offers some scholarship to weaker sections of the society and to those who have performed well in 12th grade.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculty members are excellent for B.Com in Acropolis Institute of Management Studies and Research. The teachers are well educated as per the subject they teach. They are great problem solvers. The teacher-student ratio is balanced. I have a good experience and bond with teachers. The different method of teaching used by teachers include PPTs, Whiteboard, Group Discussion, etc.
 

Placement Rating
The institute has placement cell as well. Interested students can get the placement. During the 3 years of institute, one industry visit, placement related activities and programs are conducted by the institute.
 

Hostel Rating
There are no residential facilities available.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The Institute has a great academic block and structure. There is a separate building for B.Com course. Campus size is huge. In a classroom, around 40-50 people can sit. There is a library, seminar hall, auditorium, etc. Canteen is good as well. Sport facilities are also there. My favorite places are the classroom, library and the canteen. Not sure but there might be medical room as well.
 

Campus Rating
My overall experience is good. The crowd is decent in the institute. Yes, there are clubs but I have less knowledge about them. The institute conducts fest, events and other extracurricular activities. The activities include communication skills, excel, tally, etc. Talking about my experience, it is the end of my 2nd year. There are certain things which I learnt here making it different from my school experience. I learnt from my mistakes and spent my 2nd year well.
