ACACS Pune's Admission Process and Fee Structure

My overall journey at Arihant College Pune has been incredibly positive and optimistic. From the very first day, the environment felt welcoming and encouraging. The college’s maintenance is good and excellent academic culture. It gives equal importance to extracurricular & personality development activities. Over the semester, I have noticed significant improvement not just in my academic skills but also in my soft skills like communication teamwork and leadership.

I opted for Bachelor of Arts in Economics because of my deep interest in understanding the world around me and the Indian Economic system. I always been passionate about Economic development and Indian Economic system and how does it work. This course of the college is program. To enroll in the course, the basic eligibility was completion of class 12 from any recognized board. A minimum of 65% aggregate marks we required. No entrance exam was required section was based on merit and brief interview assessing my interest in economics. The admission process was quite smooth and transparent online registration through College website or upload of required documents or telephonic or personal interview with the admission panel. On confirmation payment of fees and final enrollment. Frequency of exams in the economic course is conducted twice a year. Apart from main university exams, the college organises mid-term assessments, internal assessments, practical exams, weekly test, and MCQ puzzles. The college curriculum is designed in a way that prepares you for real world challenges. The fee structure in first year was Rs. 28,000, in second year, it was Rs. 30,000 and third year, and it was Rs. 35,000. All the charges are like tuition, admission, registration, library, seminar, and examination fees. Special discounts were also given to EWS students with exceptional academic performance and reserve category students. The faculty members teaching Economics are highly qualified with most holding PhD degrees an extensive research experience. The teaching method of the faculty member is great. The use of traditional methods like blackboard along with PowerPoint presentations, Economic discussions, group discussions, and debates are done. The faculties are very approachable when it comes to solve academic or personal doubts. They encourage critical thinking and innovative problem solving rather than rot learning. The teacher to student ratio is ideal as it is around 1:25. My personal bonding with the faculty has been excellent. They are approachable empathy and genuinely invested in our success.

Arihant College Pune has an active placement cell that organizes sessions like regular career counseling, resume building, workshop, mock interviews, and industry interaction programs. Placement activities such as internship drives, job fairs, company specific, recruitment, training and alumni interaction sessions are carried out. Companies visiting campus are KPSC and NGOs working under the government. Packages offered are highest package is 6.2 Lakh per annum and average packages 3.5 Lakh per annum. Although I have not graduated yet, I have attended free placement talks and skill development workshop that have prepared me well for future interviews.

The college has separate hostel facilities for boys and girls with good infrastructure. Total rooms are around 150. They can be shared or single. Facility has Wi-Fi, common room, launches gymnasium, recreational areas, and 24/7 security. Hygienic nutritious food is provided three times a day. Food quality is good and weekly menu feedback is collected from students. Hostel fee ranges up to Rs. 65,000 to Rs. 75,000 per year and monthly fee is Rs. 6,000 to Rs. 7,000. Hostel rules are not strict and outsiders are also allowed.

Campus size is medium and campus is located in a peaceful safe area of Pune. Public transport is also easily accessible. There are well ventilator classrooms with a capacity of 50 to 60 students. Every classroom is a quiet with projectors and AV aids for teaching. Other facilities are library (which has a collection of books journals and online resources), Seminar halls, and auditoriums. Canteen is affordable and hygienic. Sport facilities are badminton court, table tennis, and gymnasium. Medical facilities are good. CCTV surveillance and security guards posted 24/7 are there to maintain the security. I love spending time in the library as its peaceful, well stock, and perfect for study.

The crowd is diverse, friendly, and cooperative. There is a healthy competition academically but the environment remains supportive. There are many active clubs like literary club, Sports Club, economic club, & cultural club. I am a proud member of the Economic club where we you organize programs and workshops. Annual cultural fest ‘Arihant Utsav’, which includes dance, drama, music, and fashion, shows is amazing. Festivals like Ganesh Chaturthi, Diwali, and Christmas are celebrated with great enthusiasm. My campus life has been vibrant and memorable.
