My experience in Deccan School of Pharmacy

Overall Rating
As a typical student, I wanted to go to the best college for pharmacy specially for minorities; I researched the internet and found a list of colleges which had Deccan in it too. So during the counseling I choose Deccan School of Pharmacy. And thank God, I got a free seat and enrolled in it. This decision has been the best decision ever I have taken.
 

Academics Rating
To enter or enroll in Bachelor's in Pharmacy or Doctorate in Pharmacy, you usually enter through the EAMCET exam held in Telangana. On the basis of your marks, the college chooses you or you choose the college. Bachelor’s in Pharmacy has a good scope in India and even if I want to go abroad I can always do a Doctorate in Pharmacy (post bachelorette) course and get a Dr. in front of my name.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculty members are astonishingly talented and enthusiastic and encouraging people I have ever met. All the faculty members who teach us are all Master's in Pharmacy or are pursuing PhD Most of the faculty teach us through smart board and presentations, they guide us during exams, help us prepare for them.
 

Placement Rating
I don't know much about Bachelor's in Pharmacy placements, but I do know that the pharm d interns get placements in Owaisi Hospital, which belongs to Deccan School of Pharmacy.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The campus is really huge, and spacious. We have 50 students in a class and 2 batches each year. We have 6 floors and 2 floors are just full of labs. We have lift facilities for teachers and female students. We also have a spacious library with all our course related books in it. Our building is one but it stretches into two buildings shared with the hospital management students.
 

Campus Rating
The campus is super spacious as I have said before. And the crowd is less for some reason. The discipline is amazing and is strictly maintained, and 90% attendance is required to attend your exams. We don't have many festivals here except for yearly Sports week and Annual day celebrations. But we do have trips to the hospital (pharm d) and other co curricular activities, like painting, essay competitions etc.
