JNTUHCEM Karimnagar’s Experience: Academics, Campus & Challenges

Overall Rating
JNTUHCEM Karimnagar has great faculty and infrastructure & offers many opportunities. It depends on us on how we work. It has provided with all the facilities. It has good infrastructure, library, and all the basic facilities. The only problem is that it is situated in the rural area. Placement opportunities are good compared to private colleges. I personally had a great experience in this college. Academics are good. This college has experienced faculty and overall it is good.
 

Academics Rating
The course chosen by me is Computer Science and Engineering. I personally was interested in computers and software side. Eligibility criteria to enroll in this college are through EAPCET rank. If a student gets in the range of 10000, he / she could get into this branch. Exams will be conducted semester wise and we will be having 8 semesters. Academics really help in challenges.
Fee for any course in this college is Rs. 35,000. Now it has increased to Rs. 50,000. Reimbursement of Rs. 35,000 will be given by government to reserved category students. In addition, registration fee is Rs. 5,000 and Rs. 10,000 for hostel.
 

Faculty Rating
Faculty is very experienced. They are well educated and they have a lot of knowledge. It is up to us how can we approach & get knowledge from them. They are always there to help the students. They use PPTs, and also on the board & classes are very interactive. They guide us in good way, approaching them is very easy. They are very friendly with students. We can interact with them anytime. In addition, they are available in the college itself. Teacher to student ratio is also good. We will be having different faculty for different departments.
 

Placement Rating
Yes, placement cell is present. Placement opportunities are good as 50% of students were placed from our department. Many workshops and opportunities will be held. In the end, it is based on our skills whether we crack or not.
 

Hostel Rating
Yes, it offers hostels. In a room, 4 to 5 students can reside. In addition, girls’ and boys’ hostels are separate. Mess food is good, hostel expenses are reasonable, and timings are until 5 PM. Hostel environment is good.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Infrastructure of JNTUHCEM Karimnagar is best. Library is good as all the books are available; students can also prepare for competitive exams. Other facilities such as seminar hall, conference halls, canteen, medical facilities, and transport facilities are available for nearby places. My favorite thing of the infrastructure is our CSE department block and labs.
 

Campus Rating
My overall campus life is extremely good. It has very peaceful environment. Crowd is not so much here. We have clubs here. I am part of clubs as they are recently started & they had to be explored. Sports events are held every year department wise. Every year we will be having departmental fests and annual day celebrations; we will have fun and learning together here. I have the best college experience here and would recommend others to get into this college.

    My overall experience has been good. I would give it 3 out of five. Being in the outskirts of the city I find it no fun. But a person who would like a peaceful environment would love it. I wish there were more extracurricular activities. In other colleges that provides some motivation to be present in the college.     I have studied my B.Tech in JNTUH College of Engineering Manthani. In our college the management provides quality education to the students, and they teach discipline to the students.     Compared to other autonomous colleges, my university, JNTUHUCEM is a lot more capable of placements and offers good packages. Teaching faculty is very good in explaining the subjects and clearing doubts. Campus is very peaceful and away from the city. Community vibes are present here.... Read Full Review
