My experience at the college has been exceptionally enriching. The professors guide well, the ambiance is student centric and the practical mode of learning is exceptional. I selected this college based on its good academic standard and higher placement records. It stands apart from many other colleges because it lays emphasis on learning real-world skills via workshops and live projects, which is not found in many other colleges. Vysya college also promotes innovation and personal development. I highly suggest it to others looking for quality education and experience.

I opted for the Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA) course to learn about Software Development, IT and establish a good career in the IT industry. The college needs a graduate in the 12th grade with Mathematics or Computer Science. The admission is on merit or entrance test basis. Semester exams are taken twice a year by the college. Practicals, projects and internships are part of the course; this enables me to acquire practical skills and equip me to handle actual job challenges professionally and confidently.

BCA course fee is Rs. 30,000 annually, which is paid in two semesters, Rs. 15,000 each. The fee for tuition is Rs. 12,000 per sem with the admission and registration fee being Rs. 1,500. Additional fees such as, library and lab fee are Rs. 1,000. SC/ST and weaker economic students receive 50% off tuition fees, scholarships such as the National Scholarships Portal (NSP) provides Rs. 10,000- Rs. 12,000 yearly depending on metric or income. Certain state level scholarships also offer full fee reimbursement to deserving students.

The teaching staff for the BCA course is highly qualified. With M.Tech or PhD in Computer Science and IT, they have industry and teaching experience too. They use blackboards, power point presentations, and group discussions to ensure effective learning. Faculty is apt at resolving student queries and explaining complex concepts in a simple manner. The teacher student ratio is around 1:25, which provides personal attention to all students. My experience with them is good. They are friendly, helpful and always willing to assist us. I am not afraid to ask questions and seek advice from them at any time.

Our college possesses an active placement cell that facilitates the placement of students in the software and IT sector. The cell trains students in resume writing, communication skills, mock interviews, and aptitude tests. The cell arranges seminars, workshops, and job fairs to prepare students for interviews. Top companies such as TCS, Wipro, Infosys, and HCL conduct recruitment on the campus. The average package is 3.5 LPA and the maximum is 7 LPA. My placement process was very smooth and a renowned IT company chose me.

Vysya college has residential facilities, with boys and girls having separate hostels. There are 100 rooms in the hostel and it can accommodate about 200 students. Rooms are neat, clean, and well ventilated with beds, study tables, and cupboard. 24/7 security and Wi-Fi is there. Indoor games facilities are available too. Regular recreational activities in the form of cultural evenings and sports events are also arranged from time to time. Mess offers hygienic, vegetarian food three times a day. The hostel charges are Rs. 25,000 per year or Rs. 2,200 per month. There is a fixed timing of entry and strict regulation. My hostel life is pleasant and comfortable.

The college campus extends over 10 acres and lies in a calm and green region. The blocks for academics are properly planned and have individual buildings for every department. Classrooms are large with the seating capacity for 60-70 students and have a AV aids such as projectors. There is a properly stocked library on the campus along with modern computer and science laboratories. Seminar hall, auditorium, and conference hall are also there. A hygienic canteen, play grounds, medicine room, college buses are provided too. The library is my favorite. It is a peaceful place ideal for studying my course. Learning is aided well by computer labs and smart classrooms.

My campus life is good, lively and full of learning. The college students are warm, supportive and belong to different backgrounds. There are quite a few student clubs such as Coding Club, Cultural Club, and Sport Club. I am a member of the Coding Club, where we participate in coding challenges and Hackathons. The college promotes many extra circular activities such as debates, quizzes, dance competitions, and sport meets. Yearly fests such as Tech fest and cultural fest are thrilling and enjoyable. My campus life experience has been unforgettable, enriching and filled with great moments.
