G. Pullaiah College of Engineering and Technology: Personal POV

Overall Rating
G. Pullaiah College of Engineering and Technology is good enough to study. College is very strict that it maintains high discipline. College is located in Venkayapalli, Kurnool. College bus facility is there for students and it minimum of Rs. 10,000/- to Rs. 15,000. I experienced very badly in my college because there is listening of children talks whatever you do, it is mistake to them.
 

Academics Rating
I chose Electronics and Communication. I like this course and in this college, this branch has huge respect than Computer Science and Engineering. Eligibility is you have to complete 12th or equivalent course. Before joining, you have to give EAMCET exam or you can join on donation seat, fee for both categories is different. Academics can prepare only half of real life challenges. In every course exams are same two midterm exams and one semester exam for every semester.
The fee for every course in our college under fee reimbursement is same. It will be displayable on EAMCET result. In addition, for management seat, it costs upto Rs. 1,20,000/- for R20 regulation students and regulations are changed so the fee will be increased.
 

Faculty Rating
The placement is present in our college.
 

Placement Rating
Yes, our college has one hostel for girls. I am not staying in college but as much as I know hostel fee is about Rs. 60,000/-per year. Hostel is in the backside of college and exit is same for college and hostel. As I know hostel is so secured for girls.
 

Hostel Rating
As I said earlier, college has three blocks and one library and a canteen for both boys and girls seating is separate. There is place is in the college for fests that are going to be done is to be used as playground but it is not that much large. There is one tennis court. College has college bus facility but it is not longer distance places and you can come in RTC buses by holding bus passes. Our class rooms consists of smart boards and black boards some contain both and some contain only one. Labs are ok, the instruments in the lab are old, and they are not enough for students to learn perfectly.

Campus Rating
College crowd has 4000 members. There are no clubs in our college. There is only one fest every year. Yes, there are extracurricular activities like kabaddi, cricket, and IEEE, etc. My experience about campus life is average.

    According to me, my college is one of the best colleges in our city with an overall good infrastructure and faculty. Each and every faculty is really very friendly with the students but the only problem is that some of the faculty still do not have in-depth knowledge of what they are teaching, they just know the theoretical knowledge but when it comes to practical few faculty still lag behind.
