Campus life at SCLC Pune

Overall Rating
A city that has so many law colleges like Symbiosis, ILS, Firodia and others, SCLC has still managed to create a niche for itself. Firstly, the fees is less and secondly the pedigree as our college is in existence for more than 20 years now. I was a part of the college when 20th year completion of our college was celebrated and our ex alumnus were called upon. It was so delightful to watch the students of our college who have gone places now.
 

Academics Rating
At our college, more practical kind of approach is there when it comes to studies. We are taken to court quite often and moot courts are held almost every month. Pune University moot competition can never be complete without participation from our college as our college academics is that strong.
In the first year, the fee was Rs. 32,000 and now it is Rs. 37,000 a year. SC/ST students get an outright scholarship of 50% through state. Government scholarship scheme for backward classes is also there.
 

Faculty Rating
From promoting excellence in learning, to themselves being the expert of their disciplines, our faculties can be anything but mug. The reason why students of our college have flown high is because of the faculties. The reason why students are optimistic about their career is because of the kind of learning that we get from our faculties. They are very approachable and supportive.
 

Placement Rating
It is mandatory for students to do internships, as all of them are reviewed by our faculties. As per electives, we are assisted as well in the respective subjects. Both corporate and legal firms come for placement and those who fail to find placements from campus, they can easily find placement off campus.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Campus is small, but tidy as each floor of our campus is amazing. We have something on each floor and our department is on 5th floor. From our classes to moot halls, we have everything on that floor. One tea counter and one very affordable canteen is there in our college. College is in prime location so commuting also isn’t tough and this is the best part as otherwise travelling is a bit of hassle in Pune.
 

Campus Rating
Interacting with students and participating and preparing for moot is what make our campus life special. The debate society organizes debates after each big event. So, one is always up to date with the latest happenings in the world. Our annual fest ‘Lawzilla’ is also quite popular as various competitions are held during it and many college students are invited for various competitions.
