Student’s Life at BIITM Bhubaneswar

Overall Rating
My overall experience is good in BIITM Bhubaneswar. The only reason I have chosen this institute is because of its placement drive and holistic approach to prepare student for corporate set up. The faculties are highly experienced. The placement cell is highly dedicated and believes in result driven process. The Placement process in this institute, which I find, is not there in others. If you want a guaranteed placement after completion of course, you should go for this institute.
 

Academics Rating
The course chosen by me was MBA and my motive to enroll was to get a job in corporate. You need to qualify the entrance exam Orissa Joint Entrance Exam to apply here. The institute does its admission through official portal by registration. Total four semesters, eight mid sem and two presentations are there. The academics prepares me very effectively for real life challenges. In every six months, each semester is conducted. The institute has a good exam cell.
The fees of this institute are Rs. 3,20,000. You have to pay it in 4 installments during those respective 4 semesters. Registration fees of Rs. 10,000 are charged while applying. Several schemes and scholarships are there by which student can get their concession.
 

Faculty Rating
I have chosen Marketing and Operation in MBA. I was so lucky that this institute really has some genius minds when it comes in terms of teaching. All my faculties are masters in their respective field with more than 10 years of corporate and 5 years of teaching experience. They do follow practical methods to teach and have high problem solving skills. My experience with my faculties was great.
 

Placement Rating
The institute has a placement cell, which is highly dedicated. This cell does bring companies for campus drive and prepares students for PI and interviews. More than 200 companies visit the campus every year. Asian paints, Berger, Axis, HDFC, Federal bank, Pantaloons and many more come for hiring. My placement experience was great as I was placed in Berger India as SSOT.
 

Hostel Rating
The institute offers residential facilities for both boys and girls. The institute has 2 hostels of more than 50 rooms. Both hostels are separated. The mess food can be improved. They charge Rs. 70,000 as hostel fees with some discount for reservation category.
 

Infrastructure Rating
This institute is situated near DLF tower. It has 3 floors with 20 classrooms, 4 interview rooms, administrative block and a conference room. Also beside this a library, a faculty room and a canteen are there. It has 2 hostels for boys and girls separately and 3 buses. My favorite place in BIITM Bhubaneswar was library because there are more than six thousand books, which complements my course teaching.
 

Campus Rating
Campus life was good and full of fun activities with friends and faculties. The institute has 320 students in every batch and this is what makes it a busier one. There are no clubs. However, they do arrange many events for fun like Annual Sports, Drama, Annual Function, and Marketing Conclave. Also besides these, the institute also conducts industrial visits, corporate visits, etc. They also arrange ted talks for students to get more clarity.
