SGI Sikar is one of the best Colleges in Sikar at the moment. It is thriving and many students from far away come here with hopes of better career. This College has really calm and peaceful environment. We don't find such environment in other Colleges of Sikar. The campus is huge and really beautiful, and they have latest technology. Teachers make sure that everyone gets the knowledge of ongoing trends in tech industry. In our College we get to do internship in every year so that we can get career ready. They also provide us with extra-curricular activities every now and then. Here every faculty believes in practical knowledge and hands-on work experience. Classrooms, labs, and everything is well maintained. They also have library which has every book that one can need. Everything is provided there unlike other Colleges.

I have chosen B.Tech in Computer Science. For this course the eligibility is that one must have completed 10+2 with minimum 50% marks. Admission process is really simple and everyone is really helpful there. Frequency of exams in B.Tech are like we have to give three mid terms exam, from which two are necessary and then one practical exam, and then external exam. The academics prepare us well enough for real life challenges. We get to understand how things work in real life. We have labs everyday to work practically and to understand things. Also every year we have to do internship so we can also understand the corporate environment.

Fee structure for every course is different, as for B.Tech we have to pay approximately Rs. 4,00,000 for 4 years, like we have to pay approximately Rs. 40,500 per semester. They also have scholarship programs, where faculty will help you throughout the whole process. There are many students who got the scholarship.

Faculty is very supportive and friendly. Always helps with everything, even if it's regarding academics or career, or anything else. They have many years of experience in their field and have some knowledge of other subjects and field as well. They all are very professional and goal oriented. They also provide extra hours to students so that they can always ask their doubts, and they also take extra classes when the exam time is near, so that if someone does not understand or left something they cover all of it.

They provide 100% placement assistance and take mockup interview to prepare every student for interview, so that they can clear it and get placed. They also provide soft skills classes to help students, and they provide many companies for placement as well.

Girls and boys hostels are separated, and they also provide gym in hostels. Food is average and they have strict rules for the hostels. Many students live there and they are satisfied with hostels. They have everything that one can need and every facility is provided.

Our campus is wide and has lots of greenery. Our campus is located in Sikar Rajasthan. Classrooms are clean and really big, they are more than sufficient for every student. There are many gardens where everyone can sit and relax, and we also have many seminar halls and conference halls. There are different blocks and building for every department which has different labs for all the departments. Library has huge collection of books and they keep it updated as well. There's a big canteen where you can get everything. Security is tight and quite strict when it comes to safety of students. College has separate grounds for sports and also an open mic area. Medical services and transport is also available for everyone. My favourite part is how they have maintained the greenery all around the campus and it's really peaceful.

My experience is pretty fine in SGI Sikar. Our College is not that crowded because of different timings for every class and separate blocks for every course. It’s very calm and helps everyone focus on the classes. Fests and events happen a lot and faculty makes sure everyone takes parts in theme, and even let students handle everything to help them build personality. Extracurricular activities are organised by the College every now and then.
