KRMU Gurgaon Conducts Many Job Fair to Provide Placements

I have recently completed 2 years in this university and I am going to start with my final year soon. My overall experience has been amazing here. I have enjoyed all the fests, events, sports activities and also different activities of the clubs like MUN's, Dance, Singing. The faculty has been teaching the subjects very nicely and are easily approachable in times of need or help. So overall, I had a great experience these past two years in the university. The factors that made me choose this specific university is that it provided specialisations in my field BBA that was different from most other universities. Like, I am pursuing BBA BIA i.e. Business Intelligence and Analytics, which I believed was a slightly different concept than other universities or universities. Many other specialisations are provided in this field like ACCA, LSCM, IB, MBA integration and much more. Also as an athlete the sports curriculum of the university also was an attractive aspect for me. There are grounds for almost every sport and are well maintained as well. These factors attracted me the most to be a part of this university.

The motive to enrol in this course was this provided an integration of Management and Tech at the same time. For example, my subjects were Sales, Finance, HR, Marketing, etc. from the Management field but also from the Tech background like Machine Learning, Python, R Programming, Power BI etc. So, it created a win-win situation as nowadays companies also look for technical skills along with management skills. The admission process at the university was simple enough. I was connected to a campus counsellor itself who briefed me about the same. My interview was taken along with a test, on the basis of which selections were done. Later I was given a complete campus tour by one of the student ambassadors. There are two examinations held in one semester, one for mid sem and one for final sem. The subjects taught are highly applicable in real life and provides great insights on how the actual corporate world works.

The fees structure of my course goes like Rs. 2,10,000 per year and Rs. 1,05,000 per semester. The transportation fee per semester is Rs. 25,000 and per year is Rs. 50,000. Besides this, scholarships are provided on different criteria like on the basis of CUET or other examinations, your 12th marks, sports scholarships, etc. which are all briefed out by campus counsellor.

The faculty is very easily approachable in times of need and help where they resolve all the issues or conflicts we are facing. The faculty teaching my course has high and accurate knowledge about their domains. Most of them have their PhD degrees in specific domains and their way of teaching and making us understand the topics is very well and in brief. They use notes, PPTs, smartboards and blackboards to teach us. There are mentors assigned to every class to handle issues and mentor-mentee sessions are held regularly to handle any disputes. All of them create a friendly environment for us.

There is a career development cell present in the university (CDC), which is actively engaged in placing students at remarkable companies. Job Fairs are conducted where companies from all over come up to hire students. The students are prepared well for their interviews and taught how to build their resumes effectively. The university is connected to IBM and Samatrix.io, which help the students to be places in relevant companies. Besides this, the university has a KEIC cell, which promotes startups of the students and provides funds to it.

The university has 2 hostel buildings working and 2 more are already under construction. The girls and boys hostels are separate. Many facilities are provided to the hostellers like sports (grounds are made within the hostel facility, which is separate from the main university grounds), canteens, gym, laundry etc. The hostel students are allowed to go outside the university with a proper pass made by the hostel faculty with permission of the student's parents. The hostel rooms are well maintained and hygienic with 2 or more students in one room.

There are 3 blocks working in the campus and one new block is under construction. Each block has different academic structure. One goes for Medical background and Law background; one is for Management and other goes for Science fields. There are 2 canteens in the campus with one open canteen area of Nescafe. The classrooms are of different sizes with 50-200 sitting space for students. The best thing is the university has a huge library with almost all the types of books available. There are 4 floors in every block and each floor has 2-3 guards on duty (male as well as female). There is a medical room in the university as well as in the hostel. There is a sports room with all equipment required for outdoor and indoor games. There are separate rooms for different indoor games like Chess, Carom, Billiards, Table Tennis etc. and separate room for other co-curriculum activities like Dance, Singing, Nukkad Natak, etc. There is a Jury room for Law students to give real life experiences. My favourite thing in the university campus is the hill like structure made in between all the blocks from where u can see the whole campus, which gives a beautiful view. The university works in a structured way, there are different offices for different facilities like sports, transports, registration, accounts, faculty office etc.

I have enjoyed the campus life a lot in the past 2 years. The university crowd is also friendly. Anyone can easily indulge with them. There are numerous clubs in the university and I am part of the MUN club. The university organises different activities regularly like Hackathon, Coding Competitions, Sports Competitions, Fairs etc. We celebrate an annual fest every year in the university, which is very fun and exciting. I keep engaging in different activities like Student Ambassador, Event Organization, Sports, etc. So, this university is overall a great experience to be a part of.
