KJSSC Mumbai is approximately a 10-minute walk from Vidyavihar railway station

KJSSC Mumbai is a very advanced college. It has a quite updated and job oriented course curriculum compared to other colleges. Students get placed before completing the degree. Teachers are supportive and helpful too. Library, gym and sports complex are quite good. College is a 10 minute walk from Vidyavihar railway station so you can travel easily. It has various sports competitions held on a regular basis. Quiz competitions, industrial visits, etc. also take place here.

I have chosen B.Sc Statistics because Statistics has a great demand in upcoming years. Eligibility is 12th marks based. You have to first fill the MU application form then you need to fill the college form for taking admission. Every quarter, end sem exam is taken and mid sem is taken on a weekly basis. Academics are quite job oriented. Exams are quite easy, you can clear it by few weeks of study also.

The fee is around Rs. 20,000/- per year. Tuition fee is approx. Rs. 10,000/- included. Registration fee is Rs. 100/-. Scholarships are available for merit based and income based students.

Faculty members at KJSSC Mumbai have 20-25 years of experience. Most have PhD or M.Phil. and few have cleared NET/SET exams. They teach on both blackboards and PPTs; their notes are quite engaging and easy to study. Teacher student ratio is 1:25. Faculty members are quite friendly and helpful. You can contact them anytime for a basic doubt also. They helped us to grow over a period of time. We learned many analytical and problem solving techniques and approaches from them.

Campus is quite large, it is a 60 acres of lush green campus. It is located in Vidyavihar. Classrooms have a capacity of 60-80 students, so its quite comfortable to study. Seminar Hall, Auditorium are quite good and activities occur on a weekly basis there. There are 4 canteens available in the campus. Athletics track, open basketball court, cricket ground, etc. are there. Library has more than sufficient books available. Each floor has multiple washrooms and water coolers available.

Overall campus life at KJSSC Mumbai was amazing. Every event is celebrated as something big. College crowd is quite elite approachable and nice. There are lots of clubs available. I was part of some Statistics and Sports club. Colleges organises department fests in month of December. Annual fest ‘Symphony’ happens every year. Students from different colleges visit our campus during the fest season. Garba Nights takes place during the Garba season. Free passes are distributed to students of the campus. Even faculty engages in these fests.
