Mata Jijabai Govt. Girls P.G. College has NCC & NSS Units

Mata Jijabai College is nice girl's College with supportive professors and good environment. Regular classes are held here and professors pay attention to students for their career goals and guide them well. The best part about the College are the NCC and NSS units. I also enjoy the programs hosted by our College.

I have pursued Masters in Geography because of my interest in it. The eligibility to get admission here in UG is 10+2 and for PG, it is graduation. The College is good for students who are preparing for government exams. They also conduct workshops for students in order to teach them how to tackle real life challenges.

The fee structure is very affordable. If you belong to specific category, you can get scholarship too.

The faculty of the College is very friendly and helpful towards their students. Their method of teaching is through textbooks and notes. For competitive exam classes, they sometimes use PPTs too. My experience and bonding with the faculty members is great as they helped and guided me whenever I needed them. Most professors hold PhDs and all assistant professors are at least M.Sc qualified.

Hostel facility is provided here. It has rooms for approx. 200 students.

There is decent infrastructure at Mata Jijabai College. The campus is Wi-Fi enabled, so it is easy for the students to study. It includes library, hostels, labs, seminar hall, canteen, etc. There are two libraries, one is departmental library and other is the College library, from which we can issue books. The libraries, along with a collection of numerous books, have a good sitting area too. Canteen is spacious; it offers hygienic food at subsidized rates. The College also has a botanical garden, a cycle stand, and a sick room with basic medical facilities. It also has 2 huge playgrounds. All classrooms are well developed and have smart class, LED screen and a projector installed in them.

Life at the campus is very enjoyable and fun filled. The events that are held are Garba Fest, Saraswati Pooja, and Ganesh Chatuthi. All facilities that a student needs in their College life are given here. Professors motivate us to take part in fests and other curricular activities, making our college life interesting.
