St. Andrews College Gorakhpur is Quite old and unique, it attract you because of British architecture and I personally chose this college because of its building and good teachers. I opted B.Sc in Mathematics, there are total 40 seats in mathematics and degree is offered by DDU Gorakhpur University, it is a famous college in our area and it environment quite soothing and it is situated in Centre of city, and faculty are best and supporting, well disciplined, if you want disciplined life and good faculty, you can opt for this college.

St. Andrews College has total 36 courses including arts, commerce, science etc. I have chosen B.Sc in mathematics because it has best faculty in mathematics in Gorakhpur and this college is linked with DDU Gorakhpur University and degree is offered by this university and for admission in UG and PG course university conduct their own entrance exam and then cutoff is made for different colleges and this college is one of them, For B.Sc in mathematics You should have 10+2 with mathematics from recognised board and age must less than 22 year, along with this you must have to qualify their entrance exam.

Chosen this college because of the faculty, St. Andrew have best faculty and well disciplined, they are mostly highly educated and have degree from IIT, big university such as BHU etc. and they are like mine of knowledge and there are 15 faculty in my courses and their way of teaching is awesome, they make concept feel like piece of cake, I am able to grab the concept so easily and because of them I am able to score good marks in my college. Apart from this they are very serious about the study; they are very strict toward course curriculum.

No we have no placement cell in our college no company come to visit in our college because of area and no such professional course in our college but our college helps us in finding jobs in industry or small firm if they get any detail of any jobs opening, they share us daily.

Yes, college has hostel facility but not so good, they are average and college are not working on hostel because less intake in hostel by student, building are too old and not maintained, they looks like old cave, some time we got scared that building will fall down but it never happens.

Infrastructure are historical, the college is built by britishers and it look like old monuments and quite amazing to see from inside and outside, the department are well designed, you will not getting any issues with department buildings, the labs are will equipped and in good conditions, each room have good ventilations facility and toilets are well hygiene.

I enjoyed my campus life a lot, there are many activities are always going such as political event, sports festival, Nukkad natak, cultural fest etc. you always feel busy and engaged in these events and most important I learnt and grown here socially and emotionally. Our college has 6 clubs, dance club, singing club, Nukkad natak club, poetry club etc., you can easily get part in these club and mentors are too much supporting, our campus is totally ragging free, seniors have always supported me, and The most important everyone have respect reward each other, and college crowd is quite amazing, and during student union election time it is in huge amount, everyone is engaged with their own leader and this quite fun and learning moment for me.
