Great Experience at Prabhat Engineering College Kanpur

Overall Rating
According to me, Prabhat Engineering College Kanpur is a good place to study at for various reasons like placements, affordable fee structure, quality education, etc. I choose this College because of fewer its affordability and proximity of my home. I believe that the College is great and has a great academic environment.
 

Academics Rating
My course is B.Tech in CSE and I enrolled in it because of my interest in the same. Students can apply for direct admission at this College or they may use their JEE Main or CUET UG scores to get admission. The application process is quite simple. Exams are held around 3 times within 3 months. The academics at the College prepared me to become a good Engineer.
My yearly fee structure ranges from around Rs. 60,000/-. No other charges are applicable. Students are not offered any discounts on the tuition fees but, scholarships can be availed.
 

Faculty Rating
All teaching faculty of my course are highly qualified and hold masters and doctoral degrees in their respective fields. The teachers are available to take the doubts of the students and it is easy to reach out to them. They teach using blackboards and have good problem solving skills. The teacher student ratio is quite sufficient and it is around 1:10. My bond with teachers is very good because of their kind and easily approachable nature.
 

Placement Rating
The College has a training and placement cell. Every semester, some seminar programs are held to guide students with the placement process and address their inquiries. Companies like TCS, Infosys, Honda Motor and Maruti Suzuki, Indian Railways, NHAI, Justdial, etc. are some of the top companies here. Average package offered to the students’ ranges from 4 LPA to 6 LPA and the highest package offered to the students was around 21 LPA.
 

Hostel Rating
Separate girls’ and boys’ hostels are offered to the students at Prabhat Engineering College Kanpur. The hostel life here is quite engaging due to the number of activities that keep taking place here. The food quality at the mess is quite average. As far as I know, there are not a lot of hostel rules. I don’t have an idea of the same since I was not a hosteller.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The infrastructure of our College is average. The campus is very large and there is a huge library inside the College. Labs are clean and well-equipped. Seating capacity of around 100 students is there for each classroom. All academic facilities are available. The infrastructure also offers amenities like Canteen, sports, medical assistance, transport, security, etc. i really like the library of the College due to the peaceful environment there.
 

Campus Rating
My overall campus life was way beyond amazing. The College crowd is huge and the quality of the crowd is good too. There are no clubs at the College. But, extracurricular activities keep taking place. A fest named ‘Euphoria’ is my personal favorite which is generally celebrated at the start of a new session. The College also organises various sports events and yoga programmes keeping in mind the well-being of the students.
