GIETU Gunupur: Excellent Faculty and Placements

Overall Rating
The tailpiece of the story is that I had endless fun at GIETU Gunupur. I passed out this year, overall faculty line was decent, and placements better than I expected. University location is in a small town called Gunpur. Since the university is in a village and medical facilities were, poor the university installed a medical centre so that no student has to suffer.
 

Academics Rating
My claims are little higher, as studies were tough and because there was not much to do off campus, there were no distractions as well. The learning environment was definitely supportive. So all these factors contributed to make education system and culture such that half the class used to score over 8 CGPA in every semester. In my course, there were class tests, which added in internals.
When I joined in 2021, the fee was Rs. 1,60,000/- P.A but as the time pass, the fees spares until Rs. 1,87, 000/- in my final year.
 

Faculty Rating
They were highly qualified and along with that, they had a good amount of experience too. So faculties were someone who never me feel lost or get distracted as at GIETU Gunupur, students are given a sort of homework or a practice material to be precise. Faculties offered help as needed, out of the draw, new things would come out daily in the classes, and that is how they made academics or rather rigorous academics interesting.
 

Placement Rating
Placements are good and since I was placed through campus, no way I can say that placements were not up to the mark.
 

Hostel Rating
University's 95% crowd live in the hostels means nearly 5000 students including boys and girls. The only issue of boy’s hostels was that we had to walk nearly half a kilometer, as our academic building was that far. Food and rooms quality were good and I have easily surpassed my 4 hours there.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Forget about the more than huge area of the campus, well maintained classrooms, and labs, I felt grateful at the campus whenever I crossed the snow-white temple of the campus. There are almost every possible shop to fulfill our basic needs like a barbershop, medical shop and an electric shop. My favorite hangout places at the campus were garden.
 

Campus Rating
Daily Practice Material kept engaged even after classes but hostel late night fun and intense basketball matches at night made me feel campus my home. Luckily civilization was a little far from the campus and guards and management were not as strict as students would make noise but never returned back a shout out from anyone. Therefore, for intense studies and adding with a tinge of sweetness by having fun at events at fests is how campus life at this University is.
