My Candid View on SIGCE Navi Mumbai

Overall Rating
This College is very good for basic education as it have very low fee as compared to other Colleges in Navi Mumbai. It offers various courses to the students. When I joined the intake was 60 per branch but now it is 120 in my course. This College is better than others because the teachers provide special attention to the students.
 

Academics Rating
I'm in Computer Engineering branch which is one of the top branches. The cut-off is decreased. For admission, the students have qualify CET or JEE. Getting admission in this College is not that hard and the exams are also very easy. They provide question bank before the unit exams. It is an Autonomous College so the exam pattern might get change.
The fee structure in SIGCE Navi Mumbai for the students who belong to OBC category is Rs. 21,000/-. The fee for the students who belong to SC/ST category is Rs. 7000/- per year. For girl students the fee is Rs. 14,000 per year as per the Government policy. The College also provides scholarship to the students.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculties are very good in the first year. The teachers are very experienced and very friendly with students. In the second and third year the faculty is changed, there are new teachers appointed. The faculty members are good in teaching and they are friendly as well. The teaching methods include PPTs, etc. and if you have any doubt you can ask them without any hesitation. The teacher to students ratio is very good.
 

Placement Rating
Yes, SIGCE Navi Mumbai has placement cell and it is average. If you want to get placed then you have to work hard for it. Avoid getting any back in the exams.
 

Hostel Rating
Yes, the College offers hostel facilities to the students.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The infrastructure of this College is good, it is small. The campus has 2 building. It has ground and a small garden at the back of the building. The campus has lift facilities, two seminar hall, and washroom at every floor.
 

Campus Rating
The campus life is average. You can hangout in the garden and go out with your friends. There are several good things around the College where you can enjoy. There are several clubs. The College organise several events and also conduct 'Ignite' which occurs at Vashi.
