My thought on Marwari College Ranchi

Overall Rating
Overall, the College is quite good. I chose this College because of several reasons such as low fee, good placements, nice faculty, and good infrastructure. I you don’t want to go to the College regularly and prepare for any Government exam then you can take admission in this College. The only problem is that, the faculty is little rude towards the students.
 

Academics Rating
I am pursuing B.Sc in Mathematics in Marwari College Ranchi. I am preparing for Government job that is why I did not took admission in the Engineering course. The entry requirements are very simple; the students must have passed their class 12th boards with at least 50%. If you want to pursue courses like BCA, BBA, etc. then you have to give an entrance test which will be very easy. The students can take online admissions. The exams are conducted on time.
The fee here is affordable. The students also have to pay the examination fee which is of Rs. 700/- per semester. The admission fee range from Rs. 2800/- to Rs. 3000/-. The students also have to pay others charges such as library fee, practical fee, etc. The College offers E-Kalyan scholarship and the students who belong to SC/ST and OBC category will also get discount on the fee.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculty members of my department are quite good. The HOD of our department is also good. The problem solving ability of the faculty members is good. The teacher to student ratio is good. In the Math department, there are 107 students and 2 faculty members. For 1000 students there are 35 to 40 teachers. The teachers solve all the doubts of the students. My bonding with the faculty members is not that good.
 

Placement Rating
Yes, the Marwari College Ranchi has placement cell. It is very good and almost 113 students got placed from this College. The cell conducts various skill development classes, programs, and activities. Various companies visit our campus such as TATA, Mahindra, Vedanta, and many more. I haven’t got placed because I am in second year right now.
 

Hostel Rating
No, the College does not provide hostel facilities to the students.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The campus is quite big and there are 3 blocks for different course such as Arts, Science, and Commerce. The Commerce building is newly constructed and well maintained. The classrooms are well maintained and equipped with various facilities. The classroom has the seating capacity of around 200 to 250 students. The campus has library, labs, seminar hall, auditorium, conference hall, etc. Overall, the infrastructure of this College is good.
 

Campus Rating
My campus life till now is good and the campus does not have that much of crowd. There are not many clubs in this College. The College organise various extracurricular activities and Fresher’s Party. Various other events are also organised in this College.
