Overall Rating
My experience in this College was good. I had a good campus life. The College is just 8 km away from the main city. The teachers are very supportive and I have enjoyed here very much. The fee here is affordable. Various clubs are there which students can participate as per their interest. I would recommend others to take admission in GEC Buxar.
 

Academics Rating
I chose B.Tech in Electronics & Communication Engineering. The admission was done through UGEAC counseling. The merit list was prepared on the basis of JEE Main & BCECE rank. There were total 8 semesters and the College conducts 2 exams in each semester such as mid-term exams and end-term exams. The students can score good marks easily. The academics are mostly based on theories.

Faculty Rating
The faculty members of my department are good. Most of the teachers have done Ph.D from reputed Institutions such as IITs & NITs. Their teaching skill is good. The teaching methods include PPTs, etc. At my time, there were 6 to 7 teachers and around 38 students. My bonding with the teachers was good as they are very supportive. They always encourage the students for pursuing higher studies.
 

Placement Rating
Yes, the College has placement cell. The placements are average and companies visit our campus for recruitment.
 

Hostel Rating
Yes, the College has 2 boys’ hostel and 1 girl’s hostel. The hostel for girls is good and it provides good security to the students. The hostels rules are strict and everybody has to follow the rules.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The campus is spread around 8 acres of land. The campus has library, canteen, seminar hall, labs , etc. The College also has medical clinic and the doctor visits the campus on regular basis. Overall, the infrastructure of this College is good.
 

Campus Rating
Overall, my camps life was good at GEC Buxar. The campus was a little crowded as there were around 300 students. There are various clubs like Literature Club, Technical Club, Sports Club, art and Culture club, Coding club, Photography club, etc. The College conducts various events like Science Fair, Tech fest, Sports fest named ‘Umang’. The College also celebrates Hind Diwas and Environment Day.
