Pursuing B.Tech from NIET Coimbatore

Overall Rating
My overall experience in NIET Coimbatore is good. I chose this Institute because of its fee structure and placement record. If the students are concern about the fee then they can choose this Institute because the fee here is quite affordable. The campus of this Institute is ragging free and there will be no discrimination. The faculty members of this Institute are very good and I would recommend others to take admission in this Institute. The Institute is affiliated with Anna University Chennai.
 

Academics Rating
I chose B.Tech in Information Technology. There are two ways the students can get admission through first is the Government quota and second is the management quota. The admission process is same as other Institutes. The management conducts cycle tests on regular basis so that the students can score good marks in the semester exams.
The fee for the students who got admission through Government quota is Rs. 25,000/- per semester and they can avail the scholarship as well. The fee for the students who got admission through management quota is Rs. 50,000/- per semester. The hostel fee is up to Rs. 80,000/- per year.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculty members in my department are very knowledgeable and supportive. The faculties support their students and encourage them to participate in many events and technical fest. So that they will gain real life knowledge. Most of the faculty members have done Masters in their respective field. The problem solving abilities of the faculty is good. The teaching methods include PPTs, blackboard, etc. The faculty members are very approachable.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The campus is located outside of the city. The campus size is huge as the Institute is run by many Institutions. The classrooms are spacious and well maintained. Each and every classroom is equipped with projectors, etc. The Institute has library, labs, seminar hall, auditorium, conference hall, etc. The campus offers various sports facilities for games like Tennis, Cricket, Football, Volleyball, Basketball, etc. Overall, the infrastructure of NIET Coimbatore is good.
 

Campus Rating
My overall campus life experience till now is good as this Institute satisfied all my expectations. The campus crowd is average. There are many active clubs like Coding club, Dance club, Drawing club, Rotaract club, Music club, etc. Most of the clubs are run by the students and they take responsibilities for conducting club activities. The management conducts about 4 to 6 events or fest per year so that the student can enjoy their campus life.
