PWC Patna is a Good College for Girls

Overall Rating
Patna Women's College is a good College in Bihar as not many girls are provided opportunities which they deserve but PWC has changed that. Our College is operated by Sisters of the Apostolic Carmel. Thus, it gives a proper convent school life feeling. The rules of the College are quite strict. This College makes the students good in every aspect. The academics are the primary focus but the College also encourages extracurricular activities.
 

Academics Rating
Academics are so strong here as no cell phones are allowed inside the campus. Our College makes sure that we don’t get distracted. The Accounting & Finance which are our main subjects are taught very well. The students also have to do the internship so that they will gain the knowledge of real world. The academics of our College are so great.
The fee of my course is little high. It is Rs. 93,000/- per year. But it is fine as per the education and facilities that the College is providing.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculty members of PWC Patna are very friendly. Most of the teachers have done their education from DU. Some of the teachers also have taught in the same so they have good experience. They always talk to the students directly and tell them to do the same. In my department, there are around 30 teachers and 300 students. So the students to teacher ratio are decent. Overall, the faculty members are nice.
 

Placement Rating
Yes, the College has placement cell. I don’t have much knowledge about it because right now I have enough time to think about it. I have done a internship in a CA firm and I have got a lot of compliments from it.
 

Hostel Rating
Yes, the College offers residential facilities to the students. The students can live in the PGs as well.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The campus is spread over 29.4 acres of land. The infrastructure is well maintained and it has garden in the front which is very beautiful. The campus has canteen which provide good food but the prices are quite high. The academic blocks are named after Catholic societies. The campus has an auditorium named Mother Veronica Hall where all the events and program takes place. The security is also present at the campus.
 

Campus Rating
PWC Patna organise an annual day every year and also conduct Farewell for the students. We have an annual fest named ‘Virasat’. In this fest, the students perform folk dance, etc. The College also invited singer Gajendra Verma to perform in the fest. In this event, the male students are also allowed to attend the same.

    This institute is well mannered and the faculty is very good. Phones are prohibited in the college campus. Teachers are kind and polite. They are willing to help you in every way.     This college has provided me with the best environment to study in a proper manner. The discipline and the behavior of teachers, staff members, and cabinets are very good.
