Overall Rating
My overall experience in this University is decent in terms of fun & activities. I chose this University because of its affordable fee structure. The flexible attendance policy is the thing which makes it different from others. If you want to go in a University which provide enough time to focus on other things apart from the academics then this University is a good option.
 

Academics Rating
I chose Electrical Engineering. I chose this course because in future I will get good placements opportunities. For admission, the students have to score good marks in JEE Main and appear in the REAP counseling. The University conducts 2 mid-term exams, practicals, and one final exam. The academics teach us how to handle the pressure.
The fee of my course in JNVU Jodhpur is Rs. 42,000/- per year. The semester fee is around Rs. 21,000/-. The students have to pay the tuition fee which is around Rs. 12,000/-, admission fee Rs. 3500/-, registration fee Rs. 1500/-, and the development fee which is of Rs. 7000/-. The students who belong to SC/ST category and girl students will get discount in their fee. The University also provides scholarship to the students on the basis of their merit score.
 

Faculty Rating
Most of the faculty members in first year are pursuing Masters. From the second year, the professors started teaching us. They are well qualified and some of the teachers have done Masters from IIT. They teach us with the help of blackboard. The teachers don’t interact much with the students. Teacher to student ratio is 1:63. Overall, the teachers are average.
 

Placement Rating
Yes, my University has placement cell. The placements are good. Students have to submit their details to the cell and then we will get the details about the companies which allow us to sit in the interview rounds. Several companies visit our campus for recruitment such as TATA, MiniOrange, Panasonics, Adobe, etc. I am in my second year right now and so I haven’t sit in the placement drive yet.
 

Hostel Rating
Yes, the University offers on campus residential facilities to the students. There are around 80 rooms for the fresher’s & 53 rooms for the students of second year in the boys’ hostel. In the girls’ hostel, there are around 120 rooms. The mess is also there and the quality of the food is not up to the mark. The hostel fee is Rs. 12,000/- per year. I would recommend students to live in the hostel because the hostel life here is so good.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The infrastructure of JNVU Jodhpur is very old. The campus is divided into 2 parts one is the north block and the second is the south block. The whole campus is surrounded by greenery. The classrooms are old and have the seating capacity of around 110 students. The campus has library, seminar hall, auditorium, entrepreneurship cell, canteen, etc. The University has great sports facilities for games like Football, Cricket, etc. The campus security is not up to the mark. My favorite place in this University is the Science department. A new department is also constructed in the campus.
 

Campus Rating
My campus life is fully dependent on the hostel only because the University doesn’t conduct that much events for the students. The campus crowd is decent. There are several clubs in the University such as Photography club, Music club, Dance club, etc. I am not a part of any of the club right now. The University organise a sports fest before Holi. The fest is of 3 days. Overall, my campus life is average so far.

The placement process here is very good. The University enhanced our vocabulary and our communication skills. I have enjoyed reading and writing in the library.   • JNVU Jodhpur has Affordable Fee Structure for B.Sc
     

    Overall Rating
    This is the best university for higher studies like Bachelors and Masters. It is one of the biggest universities of Western Rajasthan. It has a wide base of 300+ colleges affiliated to it. I have chosen B.Sc in Zoology because I was a student of science in 12th. I was part of one of its affiliated colleges in Barmer for my B.Sc. course. Exam process is somehow difficult and it requires lot of studies to pass in exams.... Read Full Review
