Overall Rating
When I first visited this College I was feeling great and the environment here is also positive. In the first year, the teachers and staff always supported me and built my confidence. The College organise a lot of activities like Teachers day and Sports day. I have participated in all the activities. I would also suggest others to take admission here.
 

Academics Rating
The admission process in other College is quite confusing but in this College, the teachers are there which will help you in the admission process. They will sit with you and will help you in filling the admission form. I chose B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering. For admission, the students have to qualify MHT CET and score more than 50% in it. When the exams are conducted, there were a lot of pressure but we still manage the entire situation. Overall, the academics are good.
The tuition fee of my course was around Rs. 1,07,826/-. The students have to pay the exam fee every semester which is Rs. 2000/-. The scholarships are available for the students belong to the EWS category.
 

Faculty Rating
In my first year there were a lot of good teachers. My favorite teacher was the Kumbha sir, he is so kind and explain the concept in a very good manner. In the second year, there was a Deomore sir, who used to give life lessons after the lectures. The teachers always encourage the students. There was one more teacher who was also my favorite KK Patil sir, he always guided me about the right career path. I am still connected with my teachers. They use different teaching method, they use to give us some videos to watch and the next day they used to explain the concepts.
 

Placement Rating
Yes, placement cell is available in DYPCET Kolhapur which provides us the details of the companies visiting the campus. The cell conducts mock interviews. Various companies visit the campus for recruitment. Last year TCS visit the campus to hire the students.
 

Hostel Rating
Yes, the College has separate hostel for male and female students. I am day scholar but my friends live in the hostel. The hostel fee is around Rs. 1,00,000/- per year.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The campus of DYPCET Kolhapur has different building for different departments. Our Mechanical department has 4 floors. At my time, a new building was under construction. The campus has seminar hall, library, canteen etc. The College also has small ground. My favorite place is the garden which feels like heaven.
 

Campus Rating
My campus life was good. There are a lot of clubs such as Retro club which take initiative to clean the roads and the beach sometimes. The College conducts Fresher’s party and farewell for the students. The College has a committee as well which organise all the events and solve the problems the students are facing.
