RCET Bhilai: Average Infrastructure but Good Education

Overall Rating
According to me, Rungta College of Engineering and Technology, Bhilai is the best for students who are on a low budget because it is approved by NAAC and many more certified organisations which help increase the value of your Degree. In my opinion, this is the best to get your Degree with better education quality, the faculties are much supportive and the College has a good infrastructure as compared to other higher fees Colleges.
 

Academics Rating
Well, I have chosen B.Tech in Cyber Security. I searched for many Colleges but many of them don't have my course or have demanding high fees. Eligibility criteria for this College is just to pass class 12th in Maths steam. It accepts direct admission as well and CGPET and JEE Main score too. Moreover, if you have good marks you will get a scholarship. Admission process is simple; just apply on official website of the College. If you have chosen my course, it's a 4 year course, so you have to give total of 8 exams per year, 2 per semester.
The fees of my course is around Rs. 6,00,000/- including the hostel fees, If you are not interested in hostel, then your course fees is around Rs. 3,00,000/-. No extra charges for admission fee if you have valid entrance exam scores. Special concession for a good score in JEE Main. Scholarship is available too.
 

Faculty Rating
In my course, my professor whose name is Akshay sir, teaches everything by taking the real life examples and makes the technological subjects easy to understand. If needed, the teachers use projectors, but mostly they teach through blackboard. The problem solving abilities of faculties are very good as compared to any other private Colleges that I have visited. I am not sure about the ratio but every year more than thousand students enrol for my course here. All the faculties are good and approachable.
 

Placement Rating
Last year placement was very good as a private College. Around 80% of students were placed in different IT companies. The highest package was 35 LPA and average is 6 to 7 LPA. Currently I am preparing for a government exam so i didn't participate in Placement cell.
 

Hostel Rating
Yes RCET Bhilai offers residential facility. Total rooms are 400 in boys hostel and 1 room can contain 4 students. Girls and boys hostel are separate. Good mess quality. Hostel fees is high. Rules are strict for hostellers. Therefore; my personal experience was average as hosteller.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Campus has 2 academic blocks for my course. The A block is for the 3rd and 4th years students and Block B is for 1st and 2nd year students. Classroom seating capacity is 100. Academic facilities are amazing and have canteen in campus and general store near canteen area. Moreover, they have a hall, auditorium, conference hall, medical support, good security, and free Wi-Fi. My favourite thing in campus was the playground for Cricket. The College has a library which covers an area of 25,000 Square Feet.
 

Campus Rating
My overall campus life at Rungta College of Engineering and Technology, Bhila is good. This year lots of students enrolled for my course, so yes I can say that crowd is a lot. Many clubs are available as per students’ interest like Coding Club, Dance Club, and Sports Club. College organises activities every Saturday and Wednesday to interact with students and test their skills in activities. Fests and events are amazing. My experience in this College has been going good till now.

    Rungta College of Engineering and Technology, Bhilai is one of the best Colleges in Chhattisgarh. It was started in 1999. The campus of this College is very big and has a good environment. All faculties are well educated and Ph.D. qualified doctors. All facilities are available in my College. They have one of the best facilities, infrastructure and placement as compared to other Colleges. The College accommodation is best. Moreover, the food, canteen and garden of this College is good....
