Grateful to Have Studied at DCE Gurgaon

Overall Rating
Overall, Dronacharya College of Engineering, Gurgaon is decent. The faculty are quite good and experienced & cooperative as well. Opportunities for foreign tours are also available. Many courses are available. I chose the College because it has glory of over 25 years and one of the best in Gurugram. It offers everything a student needs. Some factors like no class bunk and no half leaves can make some students not like it, but you have to live with it.
 

Academics Rating
I chose Mechanical Engineering because of my interest in this field. The criteria for admission is to have passed class 12th. Just go there, pay the fees and you get the admission. Monthly exams are conducted for good grasp over the curriculum. Real life is different from academics, you have to face other challenges there when you join the industry.
My fee was Rs. 1,20,000/- yearly. No concession as such for anyone. Scholarships are available.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculties of DCE Gurgaon were quite nice. All belong to some reputed Colleges and have good experience in teaching. Usually, white board teaching is done sometimes and PPTs are also shown depending on the content. Teacher student ratio is 1:30. Bonding with teachers is also good; they are always there to help you. You will never have to hesitate while asking anything, they are open towards academics. Overall faculties are good.
 

Placement Rating
Placement cell or 'Career Development Cell' is quite good; we have a specific room for that to prepare for interview and all. Mock interviews are conducted so that students don’t have to panic during real interview. Companies come here and take good amount of students with them.
 

Hostel Rating
We do have a hostel at Dronacharya College of Engineering, Gurgaon, but it was under maintenance during my time.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Campus size of Dronacharya College of Engineering, Gurgaon is not that big but enough to stay there. Library is quite spacious. There is one building with a canteen and two playgrounds. Classrooms are AC fitted. Labs are fully equipped, seminar hall is quite spacious and auditorium is also good. Transport facility is available with around 15 buses available, so no issue in transport side. Basic facilities are all present which are useful in daily life. Campus is near farms so it’s open around.
 

Campus Rating
Crowd is also cool and you would find all kinds of people here. Some clubs and society are also present here for extra activities other than studies. Fests are also conducted on different occasions on yearly basis. Overall, College is good if you just want to study and have some fun with batchmates. Overall, you would never feel bad if you look back after joining and if you aim to grab a good career.

    Dronacharya College of Engineering is located in Farukhnagar, Haryana. It is not in Delhi NCR. This college is mainly famous for the placement and their way of teaching. This college not having the extracurricular activities likes sports, dance, etc. I reside in Gurugram, Haryana and this college is best for me as I don't want to go outside this state.
