My Personal Opinion on DES SNFLC Pune

Overall Rating
When in admission process I only applied for 3 Colleges out of which I go admission in this one & in the end, I am happy about it. The campus is huge and is within Fergusson College one of the most prestigious colleges in India. Unlike other Law colleges, D.E.S's Shri. Navalmal Firodia Law College is very hectic. Students are encouraged to take part in activities, which are not academic related.
 

Academics Rating
I chose the BA.LLB course which is a 5-year programme including 2 years of BA course and 3 years of LL.B course. During my period, the admission was given through MHT CET Law exam and cut off was around 90 marks out of 150 was required was General category and differs for other categories. Every semester one exam is conducted via SPPU University i.e. every year two exam each semester one exam. The academic schedule is formulated via by this College itself and is very well made for students.
My fee was Rs. 34,000/- per semester and differs for every category. As the college is, Government aided. It is equipped with scholarship arrangements. Students who are eligible for scholarship has to pay either no fees or half of the fees.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculty is one of the best you can ask. The faculty is well qualilfied with degress of Law, Ph.D, Masters’, and other required degress to be a professor. The faculty is very friendly and clears all the doubts the class as well as outside class. They guides us during exam period and thought us how the writes out answers. They are very approachable and talk in any language we are comfortable in. Every batch has one class teacher and every subject teacher is different.
 

Placement Rating
Placement Cell along with Internship Cell is there. The thing I liked the most was that they emphases on getting experience not only after degree but also before and during the course. The cell posts very good jobs for students and good companies are invited by the cell.
 

Hostel Rating
I am not staying in hostel but as the college so I do not know much about it.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The campus building of DES SNFLC Pune is divided in two parts. In first part, classes of junior college are held and in the other part Law, college is set up. It is of two floors. The locality of the College is one of the most posh and reputed road which is in FC road. The classrooms are good.
 

Campus Rating
The campus life is the best anyone can ask from. The crowd is average, as the cut off for the college is very high. There are multiple clubs like Debate, Cultural, Moot Court, and others. I am part of the Magazine club of the college. Other event and activities like College annual fests, sports competitions are held. In addition, other events like, Dandiya Night and other festivities are celebrated.

    DES SNFLC Pune is one of the premier Law Colleges of Pune, especially if you're coming in through the entrance exam. There is enough space to grow as a person and also, grow in your career. With the beautiful campus and friends to remember, it will surely be an enriching experience for whoever chooses to be here for their Undergraduate Degree.
