Outlook on JHU New Delhi: Fees, Classrooms & Faculties

Overall Rating
I'm pursuing Bachelors’ of Physiotherapy and currently in my 2nd year. I chose JHU New Delhi because it is one of the best Universities in the city for medical studies like Pharmacy, Physiotherapy and other Paramedical courses. They have many extracurricular activities apart from academics. They have good faculty members. The University has good reputation as it has 1st placed among 'Pharmacy' Institutions as per NIRF 2025.
 

Academics Rating
I chose to pursue this course because according to me, if anyone wants to serve as a Doctor then being a Physiotherapist is one of the best options, we can make peoples life better as a doctor with a decent amount of income. Eligibility criteria for this course are 50% in 12th with PCB stream and also you have to appear in NEET. They conduct exams once in a year with three sessions in every 2.5 months. Academics teach us to be disciplined and being prepared for every situation. They provide real time experience for knowledge.
We have to pay fees yearly. The fee structure is divided as Tuition fees is Rs. 82,500/- , Admission fees is Rs. 5000/-, registration fees is Rs. 500/-, library security is Rs. 5000/- , and exam fees is Rs. 5000/-
 

Faculty Rating
Faculty members of JHU New Delhi are very friendly. I never faced any problem because of them and the most beautiful about them is they knows everyone and take care of every student. Faculties are from reputed Universities of Delhi and some are from NIRF University. They have completed their Masters degree in Physiotherapy. Their methods of teachings vary from teacher to teacher but majority of them teaches through PPTs. They have problem solving ability and are approachable. We have almost 190 students in Bachelors’ with 18-20 faculty members. We have mentors and they solve our problems.
 

Placement Rating
Yes, they offer placements to the students. I know many of seniors are being placed in good hospital with good package. Package can vary and it totally depends on experience. You can also start something on your own. Some of my seniors are also practicing in foreign countries. Some of them also start teaching in Universities.
 

Hostel Rating
Yes, they provide accommodations to the students. They have separate hostels for boys and girls. They have separate rooms like AC and Non-AC. Mess food is hygienic with decent taste. They give meal three times a day. Hostel fees are approximately Rs. 1,00,000/- or above for AC. Rules are strict for students as we are not allowed to go outside after 12 AM.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Infrastructure is average and it can improve more. Campus provides all the facilities inside the campus so you don’t have go outside. Locality is surrounded by full from PGs, cafe, mess and flats with Markets and everything is available. Classrooms are average and there is no AC in classrooms. The seating capacity of classrooms is 50 students in each class. Canteens are affordable with proper hygiene. We have Volleyball court, Football ground, Basketball court, Badminton court, Table tennis and Cricket ground. There are guards and security cameras for security. My personally favorite thing is sport complex and it can be improved.
 

Campus Rating
Overall my campus life is good. The air quality around my campus is fresh & clean. There are many clubs like Literary club, Athletics club and many more. I'm a part of Athletic club. Fests and events happen frequently as last time we celebrated Garba nights. I enjoyed many things beyond academics like Sports week, Fests, and Qawwalis.

    Jamia Hamdard University is NAAC A+ and it has very vibrant campus of 150 acres. It has separate building for every department and spacious classes with proper ventilation. It has largest research lab for Masters and Ph.D student in Computer Science department in entire campus.     This institute is good. I opted for the Jamia Hamdard University to pursue the Bachelor Degree of Pharmacy. NIRF has ranked this college in 2nd position in Pharmacy all over India.     If you want to take admission in BCA Jamia Hamdard Delhi is one of the best options in Delhi region. In which faculty, staff, teacher, campus and placement is too good.
