Overall my experience in NLU Jodhpur good. It offers the huge alumni base due to its establishment in 1999. The Institution offers an excellent academic schedule which involves regular classes. The Institution offers the scope for overall development with the help of a fully developed sports infrastructure. The Institution runs the extra-co curricular activities with help of students formed and they run committees.

The eligibility criteria for admission are that you have to pass the CLAT exams. Upon clearing cut off and securing provisional admission after counseling. They will announce the provisional allotment lists and the allotted students are required to come to University for admission for University document verification process.The Institution offers 4 subjects: Economics, Sociology, Political Science and History. The duration of a semester is 4 months which followed by a semester break of 2 months. The academic curriculum is regularly updated and refined by faculty members. The academics involve the practical learning with help of Moot courts as part of internal assessment.

The average fee is around Rs. 1,50,000/- per semester which means Rs. 3,00,000/- per year and it includes mess charges, hostel fees, tuition fees, etc. There is separate electricity charge of Rs. 25,000/- for installing Air conditioner in hostel rooms. The Institution does not provide any concession in fees to any category students objectively. Apart from that there are various other scholarships available for students. The top rankers in CLAT can avail the Aditya Birla Scholarship. Also, students can avail an exam based Reliance foundation scholarship. Students from backward communities like SC/ST/OBC can seek Government scholarships. These scholarships cover tuition fees, hostel fees, mess charges, and certain fixed miscellaneous expenses.

Faculties are good and helpful. Faculties are well trained and prepared professors. They use different methods of teaching based on the requirement PPTs, blackboard, guest lecture, group discussion, etc. The faculties take into consideration the current affairs issues also address them so we learn on the basis of examples. There are sufficient numbers of teachers for almost all the subjects. The faculty members across all the subjects are easily approachable. The students can easily form bond with the students. The faculty members are accessible even after classes for academic queries.

Yes, they offer placements to the students. There is a full time Placement Cell named as the Recruitment and Internship Coordination Committee (RICC). The committee ensures that there is regular aid to students to seek Internships and placements. The committee helps students to seek Internship with good Law firms or any other Legal platforms based on ranks. They organise the day zero and day one placement interviews for student’s better preparations.

Yes, they provide accommodations to the students. It is offering single occupancy. The University offers separate hostels for boys and girls. Hostels are within campus which makes it easier for students to accommodate. The food is offered by a mess for students who have to pay for mess fee separately. The mess has good quality food. The hostels are regularly maintained and cleaned.

The Institution has facilities like Library, Classrooms, Sports Facilities, Gymnasium, etc. The campus span in area of about 55 acres. There is separate academic block with a sufficient number of classes. There is a combined library for the whole University which offers huge collection of offline books and aided by the online databases. There is an auditorium for the students. There are 2 mess areas in the campus. Alongside, there is a Canteen area which provides alternative food options.

The overall campus life at NLU Jodhpur is lively and full of learning. Sometimes it can get hectic due to the collective workload although it is manageable. The crowd in the Institution is diverse and competitive. There are committees in the University as Anti Ragging Committee, Moot Court Committee, Alternative Dispute Resolution Committee, Cultural Committee, Recruitment and Internship Coordination Committee and many more. There are various cells and centers and student-run journals. The University hosts largest sports fest which is ‘Yuvardha’ and a huge Cultural fest is NH-65. Apart from these events, there are various events which are regularly celebrated and arranged by the Cultural Committee.
