My View of MGMCET Navi Mumbai:Excellent Academics, Placements, and More

Overall Rating
The College is good with respect to fee, education and also infrastructure. It has a wide campus area and good environment with really nice public transport facilities. It also has affordable fee structure which benefits individuals belonging to middle class. Overall, good quality education with decent faculty support for research oriented things is provided here.
 

Academics Rating
I have chosen Bachelor of Engineering (B.E) in Information Technology because I have interest in this course. For getting admission in this College, you should score decent marks in MHT CET entrance exam or you can get admission here through the Management Quota though the fee for that is different. MGMCET Navi Mumbai has centralised admission process which includes several rounds. The exams which are organised here inlude 2 unit tests and 1 semester exam. You should prepare well for it.
Fees for the whole course duration is around Rs. 4,00,000/-. There is Maha DBT Scholarship which reduces 50% of the tuition fee.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculties here are well educated and have good experience in teaching. Overall, the professors are supportive and their behaviour towards students is friendly and they help in solving our doubts as well. They also help us lot in research and industrial knowledge. The teachers here share their own experiences which help us grow rapidly.
 

Placement Rating
Mahatma Gandhi Mission's College of Engineering and Technology Navi Mumbai has decent placements. The average package offered is 3.5 LPA. Many companies visit our campus for placement drives.
 

Hostel Rating
The College provides residential facilities.
 

Infrastructure Rating
MGMCET Navi Mumbai has a very good and recently build infrastructure. It also has a wide campus area. Classrooms here are equipped with all digital facilities. College has rest rooms, waiting area and well organised library. They also have a large playground for enjoying multiple sports and one separate court for playing basketball. It has 3 canteens which has really good service. They also provide good facilities like picking up and dropping students from nearby railway station which is Khandeshwar.
 

Campus Rating
Campus Life here is very good which helps to make many good memories. The students here are majority from Maharashtra and they either speak Hindi or Marathi. They are very helpful, friendly and have good behaviour. The College organises sports events, extracurricular activities, and appreciable fests. Overall, the campus life here is good which I enjoyed a lot.

    At first, when I took admission in this college, I thought it’s not a good college. Because there was no information about this college on internet. It was only said that this college is very old. But I had no option other than taking admission in this college. So I took it. In some starting days, the college timing was only 2 hours but slowly it became 6-7 hours which is time of normal engineering college. The college is very clean from inside.
