Student Life at N.S.S College Nemmar Palakkad

Overall Rating
My College life at N.S.S College Nemmara Palakkad was awesome. At the College, around 12 Bachelors' & 3 Masters' level courses are offered. The faculties were good and supported us. The College campus was very beautiful. Many fests and events are also organised for the students to make the campus life enjoyable.
 

Academics Rating
I chose B.Sc in Mathematics. There were monthly tests apart from the semester exams. Academically, I was a little bit weak but I managed to score a CGPA of 7 or above every semester. To join the College, you need to secure good marks in the 12th boards with Science as your stream. Academics were really tough but we managed to score good marks.
I had joined the College through the Community quota. At the time of admission, I had paid around Rs. 8000/-. Moreover, there was an Exam fee of around Rs. 2000/-.
 

Faculty Rating
Faculty atthe N.S.S College Nemmara is good and well-experienced. Almost every member has a Doctorate. They provided us with helpful notes and also conducted Academic Seminars to help us learn better. They are good at problem-solving and teach us simple tricks to solve problems. They are very approachable and we can get help with our doubts at any time.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The N.S.S College Nemmara Palakkad campus is well-designed and spreads across 38 acres of land. The Classrooms were very neat and we also had an Auditorium, Seminar Hall, etc. The Library provided a lot of books including trending Novels. Traveling was not convenient for me as my house was 38 kms far from the College. There was also a Canteen available for the students but we mostly preferred the shops outside.
 

Campus Rating
Overall campus life was good and I enjoyed it because of my friends and faculties. The College had good crowd. There were several Clubs like women’s club, gender club, etc. I was not a member of any of the Clubs. There were so many events organised in the College like the Arts Fest, Food Fest, College Day, and other programs to make our life enjoyable.
