My College Life at the Usha Martin University Ranchi

Overall Rating
Usha Martin University Ranchi offers an overall decent college experience. The infrastructure and campus environment are good, and the faculty is generally supportive, especially in practical subjects. Placements are average, so students need to put in extra effort on their own. The university maintains discipline and attendance rules strictly. If you are focused on studies, you can gain good knowledge and growth here.
 

Academics Rating
The University has a decent academic environment. The syllabus is up to date and covers basic industry concepts well. However, academic quality can vary between departments. Regular classes and strict attendance help maintain consistency. Overall, if students stay dedicated and revise regularly, they can build a strong academic foundation here. College admission process is very easy as there are no entrance exams and no other interviews.
Fee of my course Rs. 25,500/- per semester & it feels reasonable, but facilities and placements should justify overall value. Also, meritorious students of the University are offered scholarhips.
 

Faculty Rating
See, faculties are of all types, some are very good-natured. However, one good thing about the faculties at University is that all of them are supportive. The method is not that advanced, they teach on simple white boards or sometimes on projectors. However, practical classes and teachers are highly skilled.
 

Placement Rating
There is a separate Training and Placement cell in the UMU Ranchi, they also cooperates very well. I myself have done apprenticeship in Royal Enfield company in Chennai with the stipend of Rs. 20,500/-.
 

Hostel Rating
I do not know about the hostel because I do not live in the hostel. Though, I have some friends who live in the hostel, they tell me that the hostel is very nice but the mess food can be improved.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Usha Martin University is located in village named, Narayansoso Angara. Its total area is 35 acres The infrastructure is very eco-friendly. It also has a cricket stadium, where Under 19 matches are always held. During these matches, players come from other states. Apart from this, the campus has 5 blocks, each one has 2 libraries related to a specific course, which are completely free, or you can also book issues.
 

Campus Rating
My campus experience was very good because there are always festivals here, programs like Engineering Day are celebrated. Some small events like quiz competitions also take place. Reel making competitions, e-Sports tournaments, and many other outdoor activities take place, which means you will be able to enjoy your time on campus.

In my time fees was also less as compared to other Universities but now there is hike in fees in both academics and Hostel. If your motive is to get a degree, you can join this University....     Hello guys, I am a student of Usha Martin University. I have been in this college since 2021 I have seen all the teachers who have join and left the college for some reasons.
