Academics & Activities at OGI Bhopal

Overall Rating
Oriental Group of Institute can be a good option for people looking good Engineering Institute within budget. Campus and infrastructure is great even our classes are equipped with good basic computers; labs are good with overall good hostels and sport facilities. Placement is mostly skill based cannot rely on collage for placement, so you must keep you skill sharp otherwise you will face problems while placement. Placement package is mostly 3 LPA to 4 LPA and billboard packages are only limited to few top students.
 

Academics Rating
I chose B.Tech CS / AI from the Institute because of campus placements and to build my real skills with time and giving GATE afterwards to seek better opportunities. Admissions happen through jee and direct from 12th based marks too. Exams are very frequent so you will be busy all the time of the year. Overall, you must focus on real skills and faculties are little helpful in this matter to but not too much.
So I got my via JEE Main and I belong to SC/ST category my yearly fee is approximately Rs. 1,00,000/- and you can get scholarships too based on your coarse so fee can vary from Rs. 60,000/- to Rs. 5,60,000/-, depending on branch and course.
 

Faculty Rating
Most faculties are good like most of them hold M.Tech degree. So academically, they are good even some are Ph.D holders, teaching via PPTs, blackboard explanation, and labs sessions are frequent too.
 

Placement Rating
Placement events are quit frequent even the highest package was 72 LPA but it is only few students getting there based purely on their skill. Most of companies are TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Capgemini, etc., usually mass requite students with average packages are 3 LPA to 6 LPA. I have not participated in any placement yet but will show up in next year event.
 

Hostel Rating
I am not staying in hostel so I do not know much about hostel but they do provide accommodations to both girls and boys with mess facilities. For rooms, there are available in double and triple sharing options.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The infrastructure of this Oriental Group of Institutes is the one of the best in Bhopal. Campus is quite large and big & got good environment too. Classrooms are equipped with decent computers and labs are decent. Libraries have free Wi-Fi; water coolers are everywhere, good sports ground, and big auditorium.
 

Campus Rating
Campus life is decent. Crowd is mostly lazy though. Institute also has clubs related to coding, cultural events, and sports too. Annual fests are interesting. The Institute does really provide good environment for these things. Guests are common during events. I mean it is a decent just works for you, while enjoying life in fests clubs, and socialize in campus.

    I joined OGI Bhopal in 2021. At the beginning, I was a little nervous regarding many things such as people and many other things. On the contrary, seniors are supportive and many opportunities are provided by the management. I enhanced many skills through such opportunities.
