Smt. CHM College Thane Offers Excellent Campus Lifge

Overall Rating
I passed out last year. Commerce department of the College is the best. The other best thing is that College is next to Ulhasnagar station, so traveling and all was never an issue. We used to have group debates, discussion, and sharing business ideas during classroom sessions. The best way I can be explain my overall experience is that during these 3 years we were chortling, giggling, and laughing throughout.
 

Academics Rating
The best part about Mumbai or Thane Colleges is that attending lectures are not mandatory and so most students including me wet pursuing CA or CS alongside. University exams too were not that tough and for admission, passing percentage for B.Com in our College was also minimal. This proves that the College provides quality education.
Around Rs. 15,000/- was yearly fees and it stayed same until I studied. So, just like every other College of Mumbai, fees for is very nominal.
 

Faculty Rating
Some lectures from theirs are something, which now are in my system and will stay there forever. Faculties were highly experienced and went beyond books to teach us some important life skills. Most of the students shared a very special bond with the faculties as they gave more than required attention.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The College has 4 buildings and a lot of space as unlike most of the Colleges. Commerce building was used for conducting BMS and B.Com classes. Building was indeed quite good. Our B.Com batch size was around 600 students and was divided into 6 sections so each classrooms were so spacious that it can accommodate over 100 students.
 

Campus Rating
Students were friendly. Unlike other Colleges, students were asked to wear decent clothes and I-card has to be around neck from the moment one enters until they leave. From Rotaract Club to Debate clubs, there were many such opportunities provided through which students can develop themselves. I made friends, developed myself, and learned many things. Faculties shared all their experiences with us and that is how I have made endless memories at Smt. CHM College Thane.

    My experience with the college was really good as my time there was covid but they cooperated with us by taking regular online classes.
