My Perception of Academics & Amenities at KRMU Gurgaon

Overall Rating
My overall experience in this University has been really great. With high media technologies and industry experts, I have gained hands-on experience and learning in the media industry. I have had the opportunity to learn about different areas of media through a combination of classroom teaching, practical assignments presentations, projects, and media- related activities. I chose this University because of its course structure, campus environment, facilities, and focus on practical learning.
 

Academics Rating
I chose Mass Communication and Journalism from K.R. Mangalam University Gurgaon due to my interest in storytelling, media, and creativity. The admission criterion is simple as a student from any stream can choose this. Admission process was smooth and well-managed. Exams are conducted in every semester along with internal assessments. This course includes theoretical learning and great practical exposure. The department provides great media exposure and technical skill learning.
The fee structure is reasonable considering facilities, academic resources, and practical exposure provided by the University.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculty members are supportive, approachable, and provide useful guidance to both academics and practical projects. The teaching is a good mix of theoretical concepts practical assignments, presentations, and industry oriented learning. Faculty members also encourage students to participate in projects and other industry activities.
 

Placement Rating
The University has a dedicated Placement Cell and career support system that helps students become familiar with recruitment opportunities and the expectations of the industry. For the Mass Communication & Journalism students, the University provides opportunities to participate in placement drives, internships, workshops, seminars and other career oriented activities.
 

Hostel Rating
The KRMU Gurgaon provides hostel facilities to the students who prefer to stay on campus. It is convenient for students as it provides accommodation with basic facilities required day to day living.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The University has a well-developed infrastructure and spacious campus with separate academic blocks, classrooms, laboratories, library & seminar halls. The classrooms are comfortable and equipped with the basic facilities required for regular teaching & presentations. The campus also has canteen, sports areas, medical support, transportation, security and other essential amenities. The overall infrastructure provides a comfortable environment.
 

Campus Rating
My campus life is top-notch. Students studying here belong to diverse background. Overall environment gives students opportunities to participate in clubs, events, competitions, workshops, seminars and extracurricular activities. The University regularly organises cultural and academic events that make campus life more engaging beyond regular classes. I have found these activities particularly useful because they provide opportunities to improve communication, teamwork, creativity, confidence and event- management skills.

    The K.R. Mangalam University Gurgaon offers a good campus and a Canteen along with good staff and faculty. The course is well-structured as well and the fee structure is good. The campus is open and big enough to enjoy a good University life. When I was in my first year the campus life was little off and the campus was average in size but the University has exponentially improved over the last 1.5 years.
