YIT Mangalore Started its Operations in 2008

My Institute which is Yenepoya Institute of Technology, Mangalore was established in 2008. My experience at the Institute has been good. I particularly liked teaching style of the professors. Working on workshops and hackathons has helped gain practical experience. I choose this particular Institute mainly because of something I heard good things about the course structure and curriculum. One thing I find different about this one is that we learning the concepts through projects and assignments. It makes our learning process more interesting and helps us.

I chose CSE Cyber Security because I like computers and want to learn more about hacking and security. Eligibility requirement to get admission in this course was to have at least 70% marks in PU. The exams happen after every two months & these are 1st internal assessment and 2nd internal.

My annual and total fee is Rs. 2,00,000/- & Rs. 8,00,000/-, respectively. We also have to pay an additional admission fee.

Faculty members are good and they explain the topics clearly. If I have doubts, I can ask directly to the teachers. Teachers are always approachable and help students with assignments & projects. I have a good relationship with most of my teachers.

The YIT Mangalore campus has a good environment and it is located in the centre of Mangalore. The academic blocks are clean and well maintained. The classrooms have enough seating space for all the students. Projectors and other audio visual facilities are available at the classes. The Institute has facilities such as library, seminar halls, and other academic spaces. The library provides a place for students to study. There are also facilities such as canteen, transport and security arrangement for students. My favourite place on campus is our garden because it is very beautiful and quite peaceful.

My overall campus life has been good. I get to spend time with my classmates and meet students from different backgrounds. The Institute crowd is friendly and it is very easy to interact with everyone. There are different clubs and activities in the Institute. I am not part of any club. Other activities such as sports competitions, workshops, and cultural activities are organised by the management. These activities help us take a break from regular classes and encourage participating in different activities. Overall, I enjoy my campus life.
