My Journey at Usha Rama College of Engineering and Technology Krishna

Overall Rating
My experience at Usha Rama College of Engineering and Technology Krishna has been good. The College is in a peaceful place and the campus is surrounded by greenery. I found the atmosphere comfortable for studying. We have regular classes and practical sessions, and there are also extra-curricular activities apart from academics. The College has a library, computer labs, sports, and hostel facilities. The teachers are generally approachable and help when we have doubts. I has recieved an accreditation from NAAC. Overall I am satisfied with my College experience.
 

Academics Rating
The academics are taken seriously and regular classes are conducted. We have theory classes as well as practical sessions. For Engineering students, the course includes programming, technical subjects, and other general subjects. Internal exams, assignments, and semester exams are part of the academic schedule. Some subjects are easy to understand. Students also need to practice and study their own to get a good understanding of the subjects.
The fee depends on the course, entrance exam & category. Scholarships may also affect the amount paid by students. Hostel and transport charges are separate.
 

Faculty Rating
My experience with the faculty has been mostly good. teachers explain the subjects in class and conduct practical sessions where required. Some teachers are very friendly and easy to approach, while a few are stricter about attendance and assignments. If we have doubts, we can usually talk to faculty and get them clarified. I personally feel that teachers are more helpful when students show focus in the subject and participate in class. The teaching style is not exactly same for every teacher. I satisfied with my experienced teachers.
 

Placement Rating
The College has a separate Placement & Training Department. Students get training for aptitude tests, communication, group discussions, and interviews. Visiting companies can be different depending on the branch.
 

Hostel Rating
The College has separate hostel for boys and girls inside its campus. The hostel has basic facilities for students and food is provided through the mess. The College mentions facilities such as Wi-Fi, security, recreational areas, and medical support. Rooms at the girl’s hostel have attached washrooms. Rules and timings have to be followed by students. This hostel is good for students who came from different places. Hostel fee also in our budget. The overall experience can depend on the room, food, and personal preferences of the student.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The College is located on a NH-16 highway in Telaprolu, near Gannavaram in the Krishna district of Andhra Pradesh. Therefore, public transportation is easily available. It has a decent campus with classrooms, computer labs, a library, seminar halls, internet connectivity, and other academic facilities. The official College information mentions air-conditioned classrooms, multimedia projectors. There are also sports facilities, a gym, canteen, and transport. The campus has a lot of greenery, which I personally like a lot.
 

Campus Rating
Campus life at Usha Rama College of Engineering and Technology Krishna is fairly peaceful. Students can take part in sports, club activities, technical fests, and different programs. It also conducts many more functions. For me, the friends, campus atmosphere. And activities are some of the better parts of my College life.

    Usharama college is a good place for quality education. This is situated at the end of the village with good RTC bus facilities and all.
