GTBIT New Delhi is Situated Approximately 2.4 kms away from 'Delhi Cantt Railway Station'

Faculty of the Institute is good, supportive, and gives good career guidance. Academics are balanced. There is a rule for 75% attendance. Campus life is satisfactory. Area and locality of the Institute is best. The campus is located aroun 2.4 kms away from Delhi Cantt Railway Station. Subhash Nagar & Maya Puri are nearest metro stations. There are also hangout spots and cafes near Institute. Average package offered here ranges from 6 LPA to 7 LPA. It is also affiliated to GGSIPU.

I am doing B.Tech in Computer Science and I enrolled in this course because the fee was less compared to other Institutes I was getting at the time. JEE, Main exam and at least 55% in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics in Class 12th are necessary for admissions in this Institute. In addition, 70% of the seats are reserved for students of minority category. Seat allocation is through GGSIPU counseling. 10% seats are available via Management Quota. There are 2 mid semester examination, 1 internal, external lab examination and 1 end semester final examination. Academics have a balanced mix of modern technologies and older textbook theory.

I paid Rs. 1,60,000/- in 1st year, Rs. 1,40,000/- in 2nd & 3rd year (each). Therefore, total estimated amount for 4 years is Rs. 6,00,000/-. All the charges are included in the fees. The Institute provides scholarships and financial aid to students.

Most of the faculty members have completed their Ph.Ds. Faculty is nice and supportive. They teach on a whiteboard. There are PPT presentations each semester. Teacher to student ratio is sufficient. There are 100+ teachers. Most teachers are approachable and friendly even outside lecture hours. Problem solving abilities of the faculty is average. Some faculties are very knowledgeable and we can publish research papers under them. There are 20+ industry experts among the faculty as well.

There is an official T&P Cell at the campus of Guru Tegh Bahadur Institute of Technology, New Delhi. There are placement drives in 7th semester, students must register with the cell and do through the official placement drive to acquire jobs. Placement workshops and practice start from 5th semester. HCL Tech, Infosys, and Swiggy are some of the companies that visited campus for recruitment.

At the GTBIT New Delhi campus, administration block is the best part. There is AC in every classroom. Campus size is however small. Locality is best among other GGSIPU Institutes. Approximately 60 students can be seated in a classroom. There are projectors in some classrooms. There are 3 canteens, ground for sports, and indoor games at the Institute. There is a medical room in admin block. The labs are good as well.

Campus life is average. Crowd is decent. Yes, there are many clubs and societies in Institute and they are active. I am a part of IIC. The societies conduct events, workshops, jamming sessions and hackathons are conducted regularly on campus. The Institute conducts 1 to 2 industry drives every semester. Overall the campus life is good, I got to network with individuals in different fields and learn from them.
