Overall Rating
This month marks my 3 years at this University. Looking back, it feels a bittersweet moment studying Law in this institution. We started off with studying the basic concepts and now 3 years down the line, we are well informed with the major laws of our country and how the Constitution functions. It was established in 1992. The primary factor of choosing this Institution was proximity to my home and secondly the professional course it offered. It is just like a regular law University with no unique difference.

Academics Rating
I opted for Bachelor of Arts with Bachelor of Law (B.A.LLB). The reason behind choosing this was that it is an Integrated program. The eligibility criteria was a simple to appear in MCQ-based test and score a passing percentage. The admission process involved applying through the website then appearing for the entrance test and after qualifying the test. One has to submit the hard copy of the documents required. The exams in our course are conducted a minimum of four times in a year. The academics moderately prepare us for real life challenges with minimal practical knowledge.
Fees of our course is Rs. 15,500/- per year. There is no special discount provided. However, special category students get a benefit of scholarship. The scholarship is equal to the amount of fees.

Faculty Rating
Most of the faculty members here have done Ph.Ds in the field of Law. Their method of teaching is using primary white board with markers. PDF is also provided by a few Professors as notes. Some support group discussions and debate as well. The problem-solving ability of the University is average but can be improved. The teacher to student ratio is 1:50. My experience is average. Some are supportive and experienced.

Placement Rating
There is a Placement Cell in Vinoba Bhave University, Hazaribagh.

Hostel Rating
Yes, the VBU Hazaribagh does provide hostels for girls and boys. There are ample rooms that are available on both single and sharing basis Yes, boys’ and girls' hostel are separate & have different buildings. The mess provides three meals in a day and the hygiene is well maintained. The hostel fees is Rs. 1500/- per month.

Infrastructure Rating
The campus of our University is decent. The infrastructure is good. There are varied size classrooms with one large assembly hall. Some classrooms are big with 100 students easily accommodated. Some classes are small in size. There is two-floored library, a seminar hall, and a moot room for practical experience. My favorite place is library.

Campus Rating
Considering past 3 years, my campus life has been pleasant. The University crowd is average. The extracurricular activities are held. There is an annual youth festival conducted by the Vinoba Bhave University, Hazaribagh. The campus life can be more engaging.

    Overall Rating
I am a student of University Law College that is constituent part of Vinoba Bhave University Hazaribagh. It is a prominent Institute of Law, which provides legal education at a very affordable cost. Events are organised quite frequently in our Law department as well as on the campus. Many co-curricular activities take place here. The main factor that made me choose this particular one is the fees being quite affordable. Another factor was that it is a State level Institution....
