MANIT Bhopal DREAM NIT

Overall Rating
Overall experience at MANIT BHOPAL was quiet amazing for me. I have chosen NIT Bhopal because it is one of the top NIT of country and my rank was also suitable to get CSE at NIT-B. Placement record of NIT Bhopal especially for CSE branch was awesome and it is situated in MP, my home state. If you want to be placed in a good company, you should choose CSE at NIT Bhopal.
 

Academics Rating
I have chosen Computer Science and Engineering at NIT Bhopal and the eligibility criteria was around 99.40 percentile if you belong to General category, Home State quota was also used. Motive behind enrolling in CSE branch at NIT Bhopal was basically the good Placements here at Nit Bhopal and I also want to make my career in IT sector.
 

Faculty Rating
Faculty was not up to the mark as compared to what I have heard about other NITs. Faculty were quiet old and they are only interested in college studies instead of what is required by the companies now a day’s. They force us to maintain 75% attendance and were not liberal while copy checking. Overall experience with faculty was not good for me.
 

Placement Rating
Placement cell of Nit Bhopal is literally amazing. They helped us a lot in getting placement at some amazing companies. They invited one of the top companies working in our country like Microsoft, Google, Flipkart, Wells Fargo, Atlassian , Deutsche Bank, JP Morgan Chase, Airtel , etc. some government institutes also came to our campus for placement.
 

Hostel Rating
Hostels were really in good condition and infrastructure wise also good. We really have good mess, and quality of food is almost good as compared to what we pay for. We have various committees like mess committee and all which takes care of all the facilities. Hostel fees was 18000 per semester and 12000 per semester was mess fees.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Infrastructure of NIT Bhopal was old as it is one of the oldest NIT of our country. Academic block of various departments like electrical, mechanical. Chemical and civil were recently created and they are really in good condition. If you are from CSE, you will not be happy with the building as CSE department building is very old and not good.
 

Campus Rating
Campus crowd is really amazing. Many fests were organised every year and many celebrities also come and attend them. Music concert takes place twice a year and any of the top Artists perform. Funding for fests and other clubs, societies were also good. Activity wise the college is quite good and sports complex is also amazing with many amenities.

    Honestly saying, I lived my best life at MANIT Bhopal during my B.Tech. The reason I chose this institute was that I wanted to get into a top-notch NIT with a great exposure. In JEE Main 2018, my rank was good enough to get into other good institutes like NIT Warangal and NIT Surathkal, but MANIT is in my own state, so I chose this institute.   • Huge campus and alumni structure

    I took admission in 2019 after one year of my graduation completion. My first year in NIT Bhopal was good and I learn a lot in that year but in my second year lockdown happened and that was disaster for my college life because my college fest was cancelled due to the rise in covid cases. I got my degree in covid. Fee per year for the post graduation course is Rs. 60,000 per year.   • MANIT will give you some light of hope even on no moon’s day

    MANIT is a national level engineering college and probably better than private engineering colleges of the city like VIT, LNCT, or TIT. MANIT is definitely one of the best colleges but I entered the college when it was going through its worst phase. In 2015, college’s director was held in charges for corruption.   • The beauty of MANIT bewildered me
     

    Overall Rating
    At MANIT, the main lingo is Funda. Funda just means that there are some rules of the college and that has to be followed irrespective of you are junior or senior. Those rules are mostly for the students staying at the hostel and there’s no way you can go beyond Funda’s set by the college seniors. Some were good and quite easy to follow but most of them will make you feel lame and downright stupid.
