My overall experience at Kingston Law College

Overall Rating
Kingston is a wonderful place to start your academic journey. It has excellent infrastructure with spacious libraries and classrooms that aid its qualified team of faculty. The management is extremely cordial and responsive towards both academic and non-academic problems. The management places enormous importance on producing job ready candidates who can compete in the modern marketplace.
 

Academics Rating
The college provides excellent academic opportunities. The focus on academics is strict such that students are updated enough to compete with the very best students in the legal field. A lot of emphasis is placed on research and review of academic literature. The management understands the value of non-academic endeavors at the same time, encouraging students to take up the same for holistic development.
 

Faculty Rating
There is a mix of faculty from diverse backgrounds and qualifications. Some have corporate backgrounds with industry experience providing real world solutions to companies. The faculty place the utmost importance on academics being fine tuned to real world experience. The diverse backgrounds of the faculty enable students to explore a wider range of opportunities than other institution.
 

Placement Rating
A wide range of opportunities are available for students at Kingston Law College with regards to internships and placements. The placement cell works tirelessly throughout the year to provide novel opportunities to students passing out. The range of opportunities is diverse with both large sized solicitor firms, and individual legal practitioners engaging with the college for both internships and placements.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The management at Kingston understands the importance of having state-of-the-art facilities that efficiently and aids its wonderful faculty in providing top notch academic training and exposure to its students. The library, which is the heart of any law school, is well stocked, and with ever increasing resources. The classrooms are well equipped and in line with modern educational standards.
 

Campus Rating
The college is situated in the outskirts of Calcutta, in Barasat. The location has an isolating effect, ensuring a calm and peaceful environment for students to study and grow. The natural beauty of the campus cannot be overstated. The management is very keen to address any problems that arise with regards to campus life. Overall it is a very pleasing experience, that I will cherish for the rest of my life.
