Ispat Autonomous College B.Com Review By Vishal Suna

My personal review about this college is that it is very good as it is in the outer side of Rourkela where there is a peaceful moment for studying. The teachers are very friendly with the students. We also had cultural programs conducted regularly in the college. The infrastructure is average compared to all the colleges in Rourkela. The thing which made me choose IACR is the fee system that it is very pocket friendly for most of the parents so that they can afford to make their children study in this college.

I studied B.Com here. The first year we had online classes due to the pandemic and after that we had our regular classes. The entry requirements are very basic and if you belong to any category it doesn’t matter as the admission process is easy. You just have to log in on the website and fill the application form after which the college will contact you further process.

The teachers are very nice they are very supportive and if you know Odia language a bit then you will be greeted by them as their own child. They are very experienced. They are very peace minded people and have a good style of teaching. They also support the students. The staff members are also very friendly.

We have about 12 halls for teaching and 2 new buildings are being made now for further expansion of the teaching and for the comfort of students. In few classes we have digital board where they teach us. We also have a gymnasium which is closed for now. There is a library and a canteen present for the students.

My campus life has been good. While I was studying in the college we used to gather in the parking lot and try to enjoy the day. The college is very peaceful. We had dance programs, fresher’s party, etc. which were organised by the students and the teachers also helped us but all the other management was done by the students. Near our campus there are stores from which we used to buy the snacks, copies, pens, and other items. Overall campus life was good.
