Review of College of Engineering, Osmanabad

Overall Rating
This college is considered to be an underrated college due to its rural area location but it has a very vast history. Since 1983 the college has been providing education to the students that are now working in countries like USA and Australia. The college faculties are very experienced in their respective fields so this is very beneficial for the newly admitted students and it also helps them to take up job opportunities and have a strong alumni network.
 

Academics Rating
For taking admission we have to complete the admission procedure through CAP Rounds on the state CET cell website. We have to enroll our MHT CET marks there with 12th board marks where we must score more than 45% for grouping in PCM subjects then we can apply to this college. College will be allocated based on your marks and your reservation and we must score 50% or more in CET.
 

Faculty Rating
Our faculties are very experienced about teaching so not any single complaint is there about them. They are also good at contacting companies for vacancy of placement drives so maximum students are getting placed due to this. They specially guided us for giving interview as well technical round for selection into companies. There are only PhD holder faculty members at the college.
 

Placement Rating
Placements of this college are very nice as it has having so many contacts in companies like TCS, Infosys, and many other IT Companies in Pune and Bangalore. They focus on making the students industry ready before the placement drives are conducted.
 

Hostel Rating
College has 4 hostels for girls and boys so there is no problem for the accommodation of outstation candidates. The hostels are available for everyone in the college in the most reasonable rates for meals and have all the basic facilities available.
 

Infrastructure Rating
College has a vast infrastructure in 250 acres. The college has separate departmental buildings and sports turf for specific sports like basketball, cricket, badminton, tennis, etc. There are also many hostels in the campus area of college having all the amenities. The classrooms also have reading rooms with AC and Wi-Fi everywhere. The only drawback is that the college doesn’t focus on maintenance.
 

Campus Rating
College conducts small cultural events like gatherings, fresher’s party, etc. and doesn’t conduct any major fests. Sport meets are carried regularly. The college lacks in social and cultural events. The college focuses on alumni networking.
