Overall Rating
The Microtek Group of Institutions aka Microtek College is a private college in Varanasi affiliated by Mahatama Gandhi Kashi Vidyapith University. This college is good for an average student but not too good for an intelligent student who wants to achieve something big just by studying in this college as the exposure is somewhat low for them. But for an average student this college provides good environment, academics, and experiences in quite a reasonable fee.
 

Academics Rating
Most of the faculties are very supportive and good here unlike a few that are not that I feel are not very serious about the students’ academics. To get admission in this college there are no such entrance test you just have to pay the fee and you can easily get admission. For B.Com my 1st year fee was Rs. 22,000 and for the remaining two years it was Rs. 15,000 per year. The fee may vary from time to time. You just have to clear your 12th class and can get admission here.
 

Faculty Rating
There are less faculty members in the institute. The branch that I study in is situated in Durgakund Varanasi. The teachers here are graduates from top colleges so they are quite good in teaching.
 

Placement Rating
There are no such placements provided for B.Com but for courses like BCA and MCA there are placements.
 

Hostel Rating
No hostel facilities are provided by the college.
 

Infrastructure Rating
This college has 2 branches in Varanasi. One is situated in Maldaiyah and one is in Durgakund. I study in the Durgakund branch. This branch only consists of a single building without any parks or gardens. There are only 3 – 4 floors where the ground floor is the office. Some rooms and classes in the college are air-conditioned and are usually kept neat and clean. We also have access to the rooftop where sometimes we study, play, or practice dancing.
 

Campus Rating
Campus life is not that good in this college for a student. As this college is too small and have very less exposure to others things. Sometimes this college organises annual functions or functions like Garba Night and also celebrates Independence Day and Republic Day. Also on these functions the students dance, eat, and enjoy. This is the type of college we get here at this institute.
