Shibpur Dinobundhoo College which was established in 1948 is one of the famous colleges of Howrah district. The college has been providing a lot of facilities for the meritorious students who are not able to get opportunities because of financial disability etc. since 1948. National Assessment and Accreditation Council accredited Shibpur Dinobundhoo Institution which is affiliated to Calcutta University.

The admission process is not difficult to access nowadays because of the online process by which we are benefitted. Every year, admission process actives when passed candidates wait to take a fresh admission of the course of the institution. Our college management systems are able to easily provide a lot of facilities which are enrollment, admission processes, and enable the college to manage students, faculty, fees, scheduling, grades and library of the college. The management systems of this college help the candidates to save time and money.

I joined the bachelor of commerce with the honors degree which is for meritorious students who are very serious about their goal of the future. The serious candidates must pass their 12th board exam with a good result then they will be able to take admissions to achieve their next goals of study. if the interested candidates want to get the bachelor of commerce with an honors degree, the eligibility of taking admission of this college is that the candidates' specific subjects must be above sixty percent. If the students want to get a bachelor of commerce with a general degree, the students will have to get a minimum of fifty percent on the specific subjects which depend on what kind of degree course the college gives candidates. There are no entrance exams. There are some reasons to join this course. This course is very important to students who want to build up a small business project in a good way in the future and who want to get a job as soon as possible.

There are a lot of opportunities and a lot of career options to choose the next course after completing a graduate degree in the bachelor of commerce. The best career options after the bachelor of commerce are Master of Business Administration, Chartered Accountancy, Company Secretary, Master of Commerce, Certified Financial Planner, Digital Marketing, Business Accounting and Taxation, US Certified Public Accounting, etc. every year, the best accounting firms hire a lot of students who are going to complete the bachelor of commerce and their training programs give more practical work experiences, more practical knowledge and more practical skills to the students. Every year a lot of government and private banks hire fresh candidates of the bachelor of commerce with honors or general degree.

As far as I know, there are around thirteen faculties in the bachelor of commerce in our college, the number of faculties is around one hundred and five. According to the information, most of them have been teaching for almost twelve years and there are one Master of Technology, four Masters of Computer Application, thirty-two Masters of Science, thirty-two Doctors of Philosophy, nine Bachelors of Education, sixteen Masters of Philosophy, forty-nine Masters of Arts, thirteen Masters of Commerce and three institute of Cost and Works Accountants.

Our great teachers are very responsible to maintain their responsibility and discuss each topic of the subject in which the teachers are proficient as well as they teach us how we will be able to get what we want to be in future. Our honorable teachers also provide some extra classes which are very interesting to us and which make us more efficient to get more practical knowledge and experiences.

There is no Training & Placement cell at this college. No Companies are visiting for campus placement.

There is no hostel facility.

Total size of our campus is one acre. There are 3 three-story buildings which are well decorated and each building has around ten big classrooms, three toilet rooms and a common room where we spend our time with friends. There is a large playground which is in front of the college and where the students are allowed to play cricket, football, badminton, etc. there are facilities for playing carom and table tennis next to the playground. The equipment for playing games is well maintained.

There are five laboratories for the students of the science department. There is a library where a lot of students of the college go to read and collect their books. There is a gym room where we get facilities to exercise. There is a small shop where we can easily buy something whenever we need to.

Our Campus life is very helpful to every student who can easily get a chance to explore their creativity. The college fest generally starts from February to mid-march on the playground of the college. Magicians, singers, dancers are hired to perform in the college fest. The program lasts about three days.

All the students and all the faculties of the college can attend and participate in this program. In this college, police are deployed to continue the college fest very well.
