My honest review

Overall Rating
Silicon Institute of Technology, Bhubaneswar is the one of the best engineering colleges in Odisha. Its NIRF Ranking is 151.Many students gets high package at the college campus. Many students crack GATE entrance every year and also my students crack CAT entrance every year. I got my admission here on basis of OJEE score.
 

Academics Rating
Silicon Institute of Technology has B.Tech, M.Tech, M.Sc, MCA and PhD. In B.Tech there are many branches like Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering. In M.Tech the branches are Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculties are so friendly with students. They are from top collages like from IITs and NITs. All teachers have very good and sound and depth knowledge about their subjects. They always ready to clear your doubts even if have silly questions and you asks the teacher, they will not mind that and they will try to give you best solution about your questions.
 

Placement Rating
There are many companies came every year like JSW, JSPL, TCS, Minetree, Wipro, Infosys, etc.
 

Hostel Rating
In the hostel they maintain discipline. Every day they clean the rooms and outer area of the of the hostel side. There are 3 hostel buildings.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The campus is spread over 18 aces of area. There are three major Buildings. They are CSE building, EEE and ECE building and IICELL building. There are also cafeterias is there and one shop is there inside the campus. There is also playground is available where students play cricket, football, basketball, volleyball.
 

Campus Rating
The overall campus life is good. There is library where we always study there. There you can find varieties of books. The college is little strict about studies. I have spent 5 years in the collage. I have done my B.Tech and M.Tech here. Many functions are organised here like Zygon, hackathon, zero-nights celebration, cultural nights, and 45 sec to go.

    Students are taking admission in silicon in MCA course in the basis of OJEE rank. The rank must be under 600 and I got selected on the basis of that. The average package in this college is about 5-6 lakh so many students want to take admission on that. And this college is one of the best institutes in Odisha.... Read Full Review

    I took admission on the basis of Odisha JEE rank here and the cutoff rank is below 600 and around 60-70 seats are there. The students are studying here are also clear CAT exam most of the times.     The college is placed near the cyber hub of Bhubaneswar with a very good transport facility. The college atmosphere is very good and best for self-study and the academic is one of the best in the city.
