Nightingale Institute of Nursing is situated in Noida. It is affiliated with Chaudhary Charan Singh University, Meerut. It offers diploma and graduate courses in nursing. The campus has hostel facility only for girls. This Institute helps to build future nurses in other collaboration with the different hospital for placement and internships. An aptitude test and interview allows admission. The campus is compact and having a nursing course only. The college management has strict rules and also strict guidelines which have to be followed under the hostel.

I joined the scholar in 2017 for BSC nursing course as this course offers the wide options in nursing career. Students get exposure of nursing in the Intensive Care Unit or operation theatre. But, not all students are provided with the exposure in different areas of departments as the clinical exposure is only for a month which we get 15 days of community posting and for psychiatric posting and one month of posting for OBG and medical-surgical.

Faculty holding professional experience and cooperative in the theoretical setting as well as in clinical service, they help to learn about the demonstration and presentations. Faculty is supportive and helps in building our confidence regarding any procedure or interactions. They also encourage to participate in various activities held in hospital or college premises actively. They help to render the best knowledge they have.

They are giving Placement in Max Hospital and Apollo hospital only. The placement contract is only for a year.

There are 33 rooms in the hostel which involves 8-9 students in a room. They have provided only a single charging point which is again not comfortable. They also do not provide any study table or study lamp for the students. The food quality of the mess is average, sometimes unhygienic. Television with cable connection is present but does not work. In hostel evening attendance is a must and also have to take the permission if any hostellers want to go out for shopping or at home has to submit an application and verify the request from parents and higher authority in the college. The hostel security is high and has strict rules to follow to avoid any mishaps. Ragging is banned on the premises and also the intoxication is prohibited.

Infrastructure has labs of a different subject like nutrition, pediatrics OBG, classrooms, canteen, in the library, you can find a different collection of medical journals and magazines with a different standard of citations recommended by higher authorities. The basement is used as the auditorium, the functions like lamp-lighting, fresher party, a farewell party is celebrated. If any workshop is a help or any exhibition the auditorium is used and well occupied with the occasions.

It does engage in any picnic trips or with any fests celebrates a few occasions. The campus is clean and green. The campus is well-ventilated and compact as it is having only a nursing branch as a course to offer. For medical service, the hostellers get 24*7 service if they are seriously ill otherwise they can take permission and get their home safely with parent's permission and verification. One can roam around campus around 8 pm and the hostel is closed at 8 p.m. and no one is allowed to go out. Mess area is spacious and in the hostel, there is study time at night.
