Yes, it does have a placement cell but I am not so clear about it processes and eligibility as I am a first year student. But to my extent of knowledge, the highest package that has been acquired is nearly 42 LPA and the average package is near 7 LPA. This is however same since 4 to 5 years.Read Full Review

Placement in OUTR is quite good after NIT Rourkela. Our University placement rate is too high and a lot of students are trying to study here for high placement. I will recommend this University for all the students to study at OUTR. Top MNC’s like Amazon, Microsoft, Hacker Rank, American Express, Cisco, Accenture, Cognizant, TCS, Redhat, Tpcodl, Asainpaints, come to the University for offering placements. Our University is the best University to get job in. Furthermore IT industry and various core companies like Tpcodl and Tech Mahindra and lots of other companies too visit the campus to offer positions to the brightest students.
